She couldn't stand it anymore! He was just too handsome, too strong, too wonderful! She could feel her inner-fangirl coming out, but who cared? He wasn't around anyway to see her in a fit of giggles, so it didn't matter to her. She only cared what he thought of her, he was the only important one.

"Are you alright?" His voice started her and she jumped. She turned towards him with a bright red face, worried that she was caught and that he could somehow read her mind. He gave her a confused look and then shrugged, brushing it off as her normal behavior.

"We've got a mission."

"On it!" She exclaimed, probably too eagerly. She couldn't help it though. She knew it was bad, but she would follow him anywhere, even into a volcano! She followed him closely down the hallways of their hideout, ignoring all the snickering of other grunts around her. They were just jealous that she was his favorite. "Commander, what's the mission?" She asked, now curious.

"The usual." He said and kept looking ahead.

"Alright!" She said, once again too eagerly. She really needed to learn how to calm it down, she didn't want him catching on. His knowledge of her crush was something that caused her much distress. Did he know? Of course he knew! He was too smart to not notice it, but, maybe he didn't? He probably just assumed she was trying to be a suck up, which was fine by her.

That's how she made it seem. She did anything he wanted her to, within certain boundaries, of course (not that he ever got close to crossing those boundaries). She knew how to make him happy, what things to say when he was angry or stressed, and how to fix things when they go wrong on missions. She was his saving grace, his ace card, she knew this and she loved it. She was irreplaceable. She hoped he noticed all of this. She did it all for him.

Team Magma's cause was of no importance to her. Tabitha's happiness and health was far more important to her. She just wondered what would happen one day if she just, disappeared. What would he do without his toy soldier following him around?

Would he come looking for her? Would he find another one?

Oh well, this little toy soldier wasn't going anywhere if Tabitha wasn't there.

Not enough Tabitha fanfictions out there. Based loosely off of the song 'Toy Soldiers' by Marinas Trench and also the main girl character is based loosely off my on pokemon fc, but feel free to insert yourself into it. That's why I didn't describe what the main girl looked like or what her name was.
