Disclaimer - I own nothing. This is Jackpot, Spack, Jack/Spot SLASH. If its not your thing I understand already, no need for you to tell me again.
"You said to me you had something important to say to me. To meet you at the alley after dark. I came, I was curious. But, you stalling is making me less an' less curious."
"Spot, wait."
"Why should I wait? You yammer words, but ya not saying nothin'."
"Spot, this's a lot harder for me than you think"
"A lot harder? Listen Jacky-boy, either you do what you came here to do, or you get out of here."
"...nerves."
"Nerves? So what ya telling me is that ya scared. Suck it up."
The street lamps cast little light down the alley the boys were arguing in. What was there created morphing shadows that flickered dangerously across boy's face, effectively hiding each's expression. The distortiom didn't bothered either of them, each knew the other's perfectly.
Jack could see the condescending smirk Spot always wore, and the slightly narrowed eyes. He added anger to his image, and a touch of fustration.
Spot could see Jack's openingly honest face, the pronounced cheekbones, and the mouth set at a lonely pout. His voice prompted Spot to add doubt as well.
Both boys has spent ages discretly studying the other's visage, They knew the curves, angles, lines, and the thoughts that lay beind each combination better than they knew their own. But this knowledge they had could not account for what they never dreamed could be there. They both mistranslated the look of hope hidden in the eyes.
"Spot"
Spot began walking closer, step by step. He enjoyed the way that Jack held his ground, despite the animosity that rolled off with every step.
"Jacky-boy, ya wasting my time here."
Jack opened his mouth to say what he'd been trying to say for forever, but could only muffle out an "ah."
Spot leaned in close to deliever his carefully chosen words, "This is ya chance Jack, show me.
Jacks glaze flew from eye to eye desperately searching for what the shadows hid, what had been so easily misinterpreted. Jack's mind was everywhere; Spot's proximity was making to hard to think straight. Before a thought pattern could conclude, Jack leaned forward. Of their own accourd, his hands cupped Spots chin, gently tipping the shorter boy's head to an angle that allowed for Jack's loney pout to touch the condescending smirk of Spot's. A perfect fit. It was a gentle touch, as bold a move as Jack could manage, but backed by the feral emotions of a young man in love.
It was the greatest sensation Jack had ever known. He pulled back, afraid to see what effect his action would cause.
He was greeted with the flickering smile that played out from he smirk.
"See there Jacky-boy, that wasn't so hard." Grabbing the strings of Jack's cowboy hat, Spot yanked the boy to him in a kiss so sassy, passionate and electrified that a shock went through Jack from his lips to his heart, pausing it in mid-beat, leaving him lightheaded and wonderfully surprised.
Jack blinked, confused at the face in front of him. It held a look of disapointment. Without a word, Spot turned and left the alley.
Jack's eyes widend, realizing the last few moments had been an elaborate concoction of his brain. He cursed under his breath, then shouted again, "Spot, wait!"
He stopped.
"I still need to say what I gotta say."
Spot turned, the streetlamps sillohuetting his slight frame, "Jacky-boy, words ain't good enough anymore. You gotta show me."
