A/N: Hello, this is my fist story. I hope you like it. I wrote it at like 1 am, so it might not be the best. Just a short story I had in mind that I decided to write down and share with all of you! Reviews of the story would be very much appreciated. Enjoy!
Harry was in the hospital wing, again. Thankfully this time it was only for a minor illness rather than another attack by Voldemort or a Quidditch injury. Harry had been rather reluctant to go to the infirmary in the first place, but Hermione dragged him there anyways. Hermione was feeling guilty for making Harry spend more time in the hospital wing, so she decided to visit him.
"Hey Harry" said Hermione entering the hospital wing, "How are you feeling?"
"Hey Hermione, the potion Madam Pomfrey gave me helped a lot, but I'm being kept a while longer for observation." Harry said dejectedly, "Not that I'm not happy to see you, but where's Ron, he usually comes too?"
Hermione sighed, "He's off practicing Quidditch with Seamus and Dean. Harry, I wanted to apologize for forcing you to come here again. I know you don't like the hospital wing very much, but I was very worried about you and wanted you to get better sooner rather than later. "
"Thanks 'Mione. I know you meant well" Harry said while giving Hermione a big smile.
"You know Harry, we have been kept really busy so far this term that we have been unable to hang out together. I miss spending time with you; you know you are like a brother to me." Hermione replied while sitting herself in the chair next to Harry's bed.
"I know Hermione, and you're the sister I never had. Well seeing as I am not allowed to leave, we are stuck making due with the hospital wing. I think Madam Pomfrey keeps a Wizard's Chess set on a shelf by her office, if you would like to play" Harry offered.
Hermione smiled, " I would love to Harry, I even happen to have some candy from Honeydukes in my bag from last weekend as well!"
So Harry and Hermione spent the rest of the afternoon and evening enjoying being with their "sibling", laughing, eating candy, playing Wizard's Chess, and most importantly having fun.
