What if challenge where Takato's parents run a TCG shop instead of a bakery.
He could have any card he wanted – any – and he chose not to.
From the fact that his parents owned a TCG shop, Takato basically had everything. First pick, special discounts, anything like that.
Though, he chose not to do so. He always waited until near closing time to buy one of those random packs. That way his luck would be like everyone else's, the same. Nothing special to put him in a better league then the others.
To him, card games were just something fun. And fun shouldn't be tarnished by the collection of rare cards.
Which was why when his parents got him a card that was supposedly one of the rarest, he had to give it away.
Because battles were fun, and he didn't want it to turn into some rare card fest.
