Hello, my name is Leon Walter. I am around five foot seven, My hair is fairly messy, and my skin is slightly tanned. My eyes are an electric blue, and my hair color is around the same color as polished oak. I am not particularly muscular, nor am I large. Overall, I'm fairly normal for a human being.
As I was waking up the tenth day after graduation, I started to think over yesterday's events.
Flash back
I was having a rough time doing anything. As I started walking down to my apartment's bottom floor I heard a knocking on the door. After opening the door, I saw no one, but when I looked down, I saw some kind of box with a note attached to it. I decided to have breakfast first before reading the note. Nothing is clear until I have breakfast.
After the morning meal, I went back to the box. After picking up the note I started to read it.
Dear Leon Walter,
The secret organization of E.O.F. would like to inform you that you will be transported to site 051 immediately after twenty four hours have passed. The box is to contain as many belongings as possible that you want to keep. No one is to read this message other than you. Any deviations will get you sedated and imprisoned.
I was shocked at this message, At first I thought it was a joke, but I couldn't take any measurements thus I be taken forcefully. So, I decided to pack. The box wasn't cardboard, it was more like a square travel case. I packed cloths, my I-pod, its charger, and my headphones and my 3DS. At this point, the box was only half-full and what I decided to take were my kunai and shuriken set, my mini-Katana and a notebook. With the box filled, I wrote a note saying I would not return for a while, then left it on the table.
Flash forward
Yup, I was going to be taken by a random secret organization. In fact, I heard a knocking on the door, exactly the same time I received the box. As I opened the door, a woman stepped inside, she was wearing a latex suit, wearing sunglasses, and had a 'men in black' look to her.
"Leon Walter, I presume?" she asked.
"Yes, that would be me, but why would I be recruited into your organization? I'm just starting out in the big world here" I asked her.
"you're not being recruited, It just so happens you are the fifth great grandson of a very important scientist from our facility. We need to move quickly before the government catches up." she said while picking up the box I packed yesterday.
She walked to the television and moved a panel on the stand itself. What was behind it looked like a credit-card slot. She swiped a card she kept in a pocket into the groove and a few seconds later, a section of the wall revealed a shaft with a pole going down the center. I got the general idea, but I didn't like it, I had to do a batman and slide down the pole. But after she went, I followed, after dawning some fingerless gloves.
Seconds after landing, the woman had jumped into the driving seat of a car that had no make or model name. "Don't worry, she'll take us where we are going in no time." The woman said with some confidence. I had to admit, the car was quite a fashion statement. After getting in, I felt a small jolt, then I saw lights and other cars driving around in slow motion.
"So, what's your profession?" She asked me as if we were at some lunch place in the middle of France.
"hmm, well, I'm good at building things" I respond as we pass a bunch of cops at a stop sign.
"Really now? Construction or, oh wait, we're about to arrive." The car jolted, making me nearly fly out the windshield despite having a seat belt around my body, but she doesn't even budge in her seat.
"Wha?" I said dazed.
"Wait a second." She said, then a sudden jolt indicated the movement of going down while a bunch of those curved metal pieces closed in above us.
After the elevator stopped, the doors were opened by a couple of guards. I was cuffed to my case, then moved into a sterilizing room. Afterward, I am escorted by the guards through several hallways and corridors. The sterile walls of the hallways were almost blinding to look at, so I just kept my eyes partially closed.
"This is why I wear these." the woman said, pointing to her sunglasses Finally, We are taken to a grungy old hallway with a massive steel door at the end.
"Here lies the work that your fifth great grandfather had done with some of the tech recovered from an alien spacecraft." The woman said, removing some dust from a panel on the side. "unfortunately, only he knew the password."
I read the message on the plaque "To enter, say the oath of purple light."
Lucky for me, I had been a DC comics fan and realized what it was asking, I also knew the purple lantern tribe oath. So I said "Tor lorek san, bor nakka mur, Natromo faan tornek wot ur. Ter lantern ker lo Aben Sur, Taan lek lek nok-Formorrow Sur!" Suddenly the doors moved apart to reveal a dusty old lab with different trinkets and gadgets on tables strewn about and a large portal like structure in the middle of it all.
"How did you know the pass code? Not even our top scientists could figure out what it meant!" The woman said surprised.
"I read comic books." I told her simply, giving her a comical bent over, arms and jaw hanging look.
As the rest of us enter, I look at a couple of things, then I see what appears to be a hilt to a light-saber. Picking it up, I look at the detail, and then press the button. Suddenly a beam of many colors comes out of the end, and stops at a certain point. Yes, I was holding a real life light-saber, I press the button again, and it retracts.
"Come over here." I heard the woman say.
"Coming." I said, heading over to where she was, holding onto the weapon I now claimed.
"Since you know how to get in here, I wanted to see if you knew how to operate this portal." The woman said to me.
"sorry, not a clue, but I think if we pulled this lever, then we'd get some results." I said, pulling it before anyone could react. Suddenly the portal opened up, and started to suck me in, also a few other things were dragged toward it. "whoa!" I said as my body started to fly in, but I grabbed the edge before being fully sucked in. Unfortunately, the portal quickly became too powerful, and the mechanism collapsed in on itself. Sending me to who knows where.
Fixed some odd misspellings and reworded some stuff.
