It's over. He's gone.
He wants to reach out to him, to hold him in his arms one last time, but he's afraid if he does that he'll discover his body had already grown cold. All he can do now is mourn Ban... his partner.
Only he was never really Ban's partner, was he?
A real partner would have done what he asked him to. A real partner wouldn't have just stood there while Ban begged him to do what needed to be done to stop the Alienizer. And a real partner certainly wouldn't have tried to stop Tetsu from simply doing what he couldn't.
He wants to tell him he's sorry, but it's too late now. Ban is dead, and he'll never have the chance. He'll never fight with him, or see him smile, or hear call him by that stupid name ever again.
