Three people and one band are responcible for this fanfic: Paula545, Voldy'sWorstNightmare and MapelineAlyciaHood are the people and Westlife are the band. Too much talk of how hot Ianto is mixed with me being in a writing mood and listening to Westlife's 'I'll See You Again' caused this. Canon-Slash - Janto, gotta love the pairing! You really do! R&R, ly'all, Carly.

I'll See You Again

Jack died with Ianto's body still in his arms. This time he didn't want to wake up again. In the darkness that was death, Jack felt rather than saw a familiar figure.

'Ianto?' he whispered almost silently, hardly daring to believe it.

'Jack' Ianto replied, confirming it. Ianto put his arms around Jack, pulling him in closely. 'You don't belong here'

'I don't want to go back without you, Yan' Jack spoke openly and honestly. In death there was no place for secrecy and lies. 'I always hated going back but I had something to go back for. Now I have nothing'

'Gwen needs you' Ianto replied.

'Needs me to stay away so she can live her life with Rhys' Jack corrected.

'The world needs you' Ianto continued. 'Only you can save everyone'

Jack sighed, tiredly. 'I'm fed up of being responcible for everyone. What's the point in saving everyone if I couldn't even save you. Why save billions when the one who matters is already dead?'

'The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few or of the one, Jack' Ianto told him.

Jack managed a smile at that. 'If you payed attention to Star Trek properly you'd realise that the needs of the one outweigh the needs of the many.'

'Not this lime' Ianto replied. 'I don't want you to go but you have to'

Jack kissed Ianto, pulling him ever closer, the kisses deep and passionate. 'I love you, Ianto' Jack breathed between kisses.

'I love you, too, Jack' Ianto replied. Tears pricked each man's eyes as they continued to kiss, neither wanted to let go. Neither wanted to say goodbye. 'This wasn't your fault Jack, remember that. You didn't cause this. Don't blame youself' Jack nodded non-commitedly. 'I mean it, you're not to blame'

'Ok Yan' Jack said, still not believing it. He felt a familiar pull. 'Goodbye Ianto' he whispered.

'I'll see you again' Ianto promised.

The only way the explain coming nack to life was broken glass. Being pulled from a peaceful death to a traumatic life was like being pulled across broken glass; Jack's head, back, stomach, arms, legs and feet all hurt. It was worse this time because he was fighting against it. He was trying to stop it. Trying to stay with Ianto. He could see Ianto fading. He was trying to go back, back to peace, back to Ianto. Ianto disappeared. Still Jack was being dragged forward. Still he was being dragged back to the hell that was earth.

His gasp back to life was quietand sombre. He stared staring at the ceiling for a while, pulling himself together, making sure he wouldn't break down. When ready he sat up and held Gwen close. Ianto's words echoing in his mind:

I'll see you again,
