A/N: Hi all! I haven't written in a while! 2 months! But I watched iPsyhco and got some ideas: I hope you love it.
I had just settled down on my couch to watch T.V. while my mother wasn't home when I realized that I had left my jacket in the iCarly studio. It had been 2 days since our escapade at Nora's and I still hadn't made up my sleep. I knew my mom would kill me if she didn't see my new jacket on it's correct hook when she got home. I muttered incoherently, shut the television off and got on my feet.
I let myself in to Carly's apartment, knowing that she's not here. Instantly I see a large tuft of curly blonde hair on the couch and mumble "Hey Sam." I walk across the carpet, and hit the elevator button because I'm too tired to take the stairs. Sam doesn't reply. I turn around and see her fast asleep, on the couch. Her crazy curly hair coats her face and one hand is sliding off the couch.
Girls are so cute when they're asleep
She is wearing a striped shirt that is folding at the shoulders due to the position she's sleeping. Out from the fold of fabric is a tiny white strap. A bra strap. I can feel my face heating up.I have never seen Sam's bra straps before. Carly isn't so great at hiding them, they fall or slide, or she wears shirts that expose them. But Sam, well, her's are always hidden. It kind of shocks me that they're exposed now, when she's asleep and vulnerable.
It's not that I didn't think Sam wore bras. I knew she did, her and Carly have invited me to Build-A-Bra many times, but Sam didn't flaunt bra straps like some of the girls in our grade. It's weird and irrational but for some reason I feel that I should cover the strap again. I feel that Sam wouldn't want Spencer or Gibby to walk in and see that strap. I can imagine her snapping at them: "What are you looking at?" Typical Sam. I check and see if she's really asleep. Her chest falls and rises and her long eyelashes seem to glue her eyes together. Her pink lips are slightly parted into a pout. She seems fast asleep. I jump up and down, trying to make some noise but she doesn't budge. It is safe. I creep slowly to the back of the couch and slide my hand gently across the folded fabric of her soft shirt so it unfolds like ribbons and covers the strap. Her lips twitch into what could be a 3 second smile, and then it's gone.
I'll always protect her when I can. Which isn't often, considering that Sam can protect me way more than I can protect her. But when it counts, even the little things, I can repay the favors she's given me. I did tell her I loved her, months ago...and that hasn't changed a bit.
Before I leave, I run my hands through her hair and give her a soft, kiss on the forehead. Because I can't resist.
Sam is so cute when she's asleep.
Alright! Tell me whatcha think! It's fluffaaay!
