Kagome's Pet
"Here boy!" I called happily, laughing as the large fluffy white dog jumped over to me enthusiastically.
Picking up the tennis ball at my feet, I slotted it into a special compartment in my bow, which Totosai had made for me, and aimed. Pulling back on the string of my bow, I watched the large canine as he panted in anticipation.
"Fetch!" I called to the large dog, sending the ball sailing away. I watched him dash after it, the saliva dripping from his mouth as he went.
When he came bounding back, I waited for him to drop it, looking up at him with my chocolate brown eyes.
"Come on, drop it!" I called, holding out my hand. I quickly jumped out of the way as the ball was spat at me.
"Ew," I said in disgust, and picked up the ball, slotting it into the bow's special compartment for what felt like the millionth time.
I smiled though as I aimed again. He was doing this for my enjoyment, and for that, I was grateful. I'd lived with him for years now, and this was the first time he'd let me do this.
"Go!" I shouted, launching the ball again, watching him jump this time. The ball placed itself neatly in the mouth of the large canine before me, and I smiled as a strong gust of wind blew.
"What, is it over already?" I asked, staring at the most handsome male on the planet, who happened to be standing before me.
I watched with an amused expression as he lifted a hand, removing the ball from his mouth and tossing it to me.
"Never again," Sesshomaru said firmly.
"Oh, come on, you know you liked it," I whined, following him as he walked passed me, intending on leaving.
Abruptly, he halted, and I almost collided with the back of him. He looked me straight in the eyes with one of his icy glares, and after all these years of knowing him, they still chilled me. I took the hint, and he walked faster.
"Your loss," I muttered quietly, knowing he could still hear me. I laughed as he flinched, and chased after him, taking his hand as he transformed us both into his special orb of light, floating away into the shadowy blackness of the sky.
