As Scott laid in the bed, wrapped up in the wiry arms, held tightly to the animatronic's chest, he realized something.
He knew he craved the touch of the amalgam. He loved the sound of the crackled voice, no matter how creepy it may sound, and often encouraged the amalgam to speak in his own voice instead of Circus Baby's or Funtime Freddy's. He had noticed that he now looked forward to when the amalgam chose to sleep in his bed with the human instead of staying out in the garage or the couch, or staying up and eating butter all night. He now curled into his grasp, and seeked the cuddles instead of attempting to hide from them. He now felt comfortable sitting with the animatronic in silence, instead of always playing a show or a movie.
Scott now recognized what was going through his heart. It could easily have been mistaken as a fondness, or perhaps even a caretaker's love. No, he was in love with the animatronic. And as weird or crazy as that might sound, it took Scott minutes to realize he wasn't scared of it, but instead overjoyed as he leaned back into the mass of wires holding him close.
He gently eased one of the hands from holding his other wrist and took the hand into his grasp, gently rubbing circles into the palm even when the hand began to clench as the amalgam began to wake
"S-Scott?" Ennard asked softly, his voice, loud and boisterous, taking Freddy's form. Scott sleepily turned around to look at the other male, who was looking down at him worriedly. "A-are you okay?" He allowed his voice to switch back to it's normal form, nestling his forehead against the human's gently.
"I'm just fine..." Scott allowed his arms to wrap around the other's neck and he pulled himself flush against the animatronic, finding their faces even closer. Scott pushed his face into the other's neck, curling into the embrace.
Things were just starting to get good with the amalgam, and he didn't want things to change. No matter how much he loved this animatronic, he'd rather remain friendly than lose what they had.
He loved Ennard.
Come on, I had to write one from Scott's POV.
