Prompt #53 (Scenario) – You inadvertently saved me from getting chomped by a zombie, which I appreciate, but could you please check to see if I'm actually dead first before looting my body?
"I usually ask if someone wants to have some drinks before I try to get into someone's pants." You smirk as you look downward at the person whom hands were against your inner thigh. "But, I see that you are the opposite."
"What do you have that I can use to?" The voice was angry and the hands gripped your pants leg even rougher.
"Me." You sat up as you took in the sight around you. You nodded at the fallen Zombie that was too the right of you. "I see you are the type whom cleves the head right off."
"Like I said what do you have that I can have now." The angry hot hazel eyes glared up into your own.
"Like I said. Me." You sighed as you managed to get your leg away from the hands. "Thanks for saving my life." You managed to push the young man away from you. "If you were going to rob me could you check to make sure I'm actually dead before looting my body. You know I do appreciate you showing up and saving me. But really lets have some manners."
"You think the old manners are working here right now sweetheart?" He spat out. "Darlin in case you haven't realized we now live in the world where Zombies are ready to kill us." His hand waved over to the right where the headless zombie still laid. "Oh and sweetheart don't ever believe that this zombie is dead …. he'll regrow his fucking head back and come after us once again. Now seeing how I did you a favor I expect payment. Now I want a life saving item in my hands in ten seconds …. then I'll be on my way."
"Your life saving item is me." You glared right back into his angry and fearful eyes. "I can watch your back just as you can watch mine. We are now a team." You stood to your feet and picked up your knapstack.
He stood to his feet. "I travel alone." He glared.
"Not any longer." You smiled. "Look we both know that it's not wise to travel alone. It is much wiser to team up with anyone else whom is willing …"
"I'm not fucking willing." He snared.
"You saved my life. I owe you a life debt." You calmly spoke as you started down the road. "Are you coming. Like you said our Zombie can wake up any time now."
"I don't want to lose you also Hermione." FP sighed as he followed behind.
You look to your right at the side of his face. "I don't want to lose you either FP. That's why we have to stay together. We have to count on each other. Lean on each other." Tears sparkled in your eyes. "We need to help one another until we get to our children; then we must be able to unite as a family unite. It's the only way."
FP sighed deeply. "If anything ever happens to me then tell Jughead and Jellybean that I had always loved them."
"They know that you love them." You softly said. Your right hand rose to rest against his tight shoulder. "We are going to find them FP. We are going to be with our children once again." You spoke with sureness. You had to have that firm belief … otherwise you would just give up and allow the zombies to kill you if you thought all help was lost to finding Veronica once more.
