Author's Note: More drabble. This is what occurs after I read a Gothic!Hermione fanfiction, become depressed, and write stories while listening to Evanescence.

Innocence Unravelled
Astrea Von Hurston

Her straight, white blonde hair ran down her shoulders, ending in smooth black curls, charcoal gray eyes staring up at him, silently begging for sanity, love, and freedom. He turned away, not wanting to face the psychopathic, newly born Death Eater, the young woman who had just been caught only five days ago.

After only five days she had become mentally and fatally ill.

"Do you not know who I am?" she pleaded, pale fingers wrapped around the bars of her cell, knuckles turning whiter than her skin as she held on for dear life.

"You are Charis Vur Horston," he retorted bluntly.

The woman fell away from her stance at the front of her cell, nearly banging her fragile head into the stone wall on her right, eyes wide, mouth hanging open in shock. She fell to her knees, shoulders beginning to quiver as she sobbed into her hands.

"They changed my appearance," she wept, crimson tears falling from her sallow cheeks and onto the cold floor.

"I am finished," the young man called to the guards, glancing at the woman with his weary green eyes.

"Please, you must know the truth!" she screamed at him, the bloody tears continuing down her beautiful face.

"Guards!" he called again in desperation.

Finally, he was led away from her cell, the woman inside trembling fiercely, silently begging for his forgiveness, for him to believe that she was innocent, that she had been framed.

"Harry," she whispered before falling to the ground, her features slowly returning to normal, her appearance finally regained.

Hermione Granger was found dead inside Charis Vur Horston's cell the next day.
