Blood is thicker than water By: FutureJournalist32 Chapter 1
Hey guys this is my first story and I actually love this book. So I hope you guys enjoy and please don't leave negative reviews!
I had just moved in to my newly renovated apartment in Newbrunswick, South Carolina. I had a job that payed 45.25 an hour. I had an adoring husband, who was the most charming and romantic person in the world. Plus we had a child on the way. Life was good. Until, that one fateful day when Claudia showed up at our house. She was only 2 years old and seemed so precious and innocent. We asked where her parents were and she pointed out at the road. Her family had gotten in a car crash, and she was the only one that survived.
We called the police to report the crash, and when they got here they checked her family's pulse and I was right none of them survived. "This is so tragic, do you know how it happened officer?" my husband said. "I'm afraid we don't, I'm sorry sir" the officer replied. Then Claudia comes out from behind me and my husband Connor. "Who is this little girl?" the officer says sweetly. "She was in the wreck and came up to our door, her name is Claudia." I replied in a sad and confused tone.
The officer pulled out his communicator and said "We have a 109 situation at 247 Roschester Lane, 10-4." "What is a 109 situation?" my husband said. "It's an orphan situation." "But we can take care of her can't we Hailey" Connor replied in a harsh tone. "Yes we could we already the things necessary to take care of our unborn child." I reply convincingly. "Well, all right but, if there is any trouble she is going to the orphanage, with all of the other kids, got it?" the officer said unsteadily. "Got it!" my husband said with more excitement in his face than ever! But, he didn't know what came on the road ahead.
Claudia started out sweet, shy, and innocent. Then we started noticing some um...weird things. She doesen't play with the other kids, and they don't even notice her, she plays all alone in the sandbox. When she talks to a little boy or girl they don't even answer her. So we were going to talk to the principal about this subject. Then the principal says that claudia is never at school. We defended her, and said we just saw her yesterday playing in the sandbox all alone.
Thankyou, you guys for reading my stories! please leave constructive criticisim, or positive reviews! love you guys!
