Jack was furious. He stared at Lucy. The little tattle tale...
He opened his mouth, sucked in a breath, about to freeze her like he had done to her parents already. He could feel the cold in his cheeks as his face turned blue and he stared at her...
She gasped, stepped back a little, fear in her eyes.
And he paused for a moment.
He paused because that frozen voice in his head awoke; when he looked at the red head's fear filled eyes, an image of another little girl, her blue eyes wide in fear, surfaced in his mind.
And then he heard the shrill, piercing scream as blasts of frozen icicles hit her in the torso, and oh god the blood—
The flashback lasted for only a second, but it felt like an eternity, seeing himself stab his sister all over again in his mind.
He stopped and looked at her.
He couldn't do it.
He couldn't freeze this little girl.
"Now am I going to have to do the same to you?"
A/N HELLO YES HI I AM ALIVE
A VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS, JOYFUL HOLIDAYS, AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR!
I was rewatching SC3 and during the scene this takes place in, I watched Jack pause and change his mind about freezing Lucy. Since I was working on Meet The Frosts at the time, my brain instantly thought HOLY FUDGSICLES WHAT IF HE HESITAITED BECAUSE OF THE NIGHT HE LEFT HIS FAMILY AND HURT JACQUELINE?! And this happened and so I wrote it down because hot damn when inspiration hits it hits hard
So here's a little drabble thingie with what went through Jack's mind, and a little piece to let you all know I'm working on MTF, I'm just having a hard time with the final chapter. I've mapped it out and written the opening, and I know what will happen, I've just got to fix the flow between the first half and last half so it sounds good. Hopefully it'll be out soon :D
DISCLAIMER
I do not own The Santa Clause movies, Jack Frost or Lucy Miller. I am not making any profit off of this. I do own Jacqueline Frost, Jack's sister. Any resemblance she bears to any person is purely coincidental. I am not opposed to anyone borrowing her so long as credit is given where credit is due and you return her relatively unharmed.
