Ch1. In the Name of the Brother

"Kid, for the thousandth time, you cannot get the double stack Oreos. We're talking on the phone, I can't see your puppy eyes right now." Emma rolled her eyes as she pushed the pedestrian crossing button.

"But Mooommmmm," Henry pouted through the phone. This kid.

The red hand stoplight turned to a walking man indicating pedestrians to start walking.

"Look Henry, I -"

"Lass, watch out!" a man with startling blue eyes pushed her over onto the black pavement.

"What the fu-?" Emma's angry voice turned to a gasp of horror as the motorcycle that was about to run her over rolled over the arm of the man who saved her. She stood there in shock until Henry's voice came through the phone.

"Mom? Mom, are you okay?" .

"I'm fine. I'll call you back later Henry." Emma abruptly hung up and raced over to the man groaning on the ground next to her.

"Call 911," she commanded one of the bystanders and crouched down next to the man to inspect the damage.

"Hey beautiful," he smiled weakly. Oh great, he had a British accent too. Lovely.

"I know I should be thanking you, but are you insane?"

"And here I didn't think you'd," he grunted as Emma lightly touched his arm, "notice."

"Seriously? You're flirting with me now?" she shook her head, the corners of her mouth twitching up against her will. Him being so damn attractive really, really didn't help matters.

"Anyway, we need to get you to a hospital to check out that arm of yours. I'm pretty sure it's broken, but you should be thankful it's still there."

"Yeah, well, it's bloody painful," he grumbled, but then his eyes lit up. "What's your name love? It's bad form to not tell your savior you name."

"Emma Swan."

"Swan….," the man rolled the name over his tongue as if trying it out. "Killian Jones, at your service."

Author's Note: As you may have noticed, In the Name of the Brother was the episode where Killian was run over by the car and started flirting with Emma. So here's my little twist on it. I'M REALLY EXCITED TO SEE WHERE THIS IS GOING. And the title is from the song by Shawn Mendes (who is actually really good live). So yeah :) Read and review darlings?
