Dear Andromeda
Disclaimer: I don't own Harry Potter.
A/N: This was inspired by the Quotes Remix challenge and it was inspired by this quote: "Thrice she had sealed the envelope and addressed it; twice she had called for her barn owl, only to send the creature back again; and once, only once, had she signed the bottom 'love you always'," from chapter 38 of Sisters Forever. 500 words.
She nearly yells, sending her frustration to the dark heavens above but she held her wild screams back. She always seems so angry these days; hurt and betrayal have morphed into a beast of pure raw emotion, an emotion that seems to devour Bellatrix's heart.
She can't get this anger, this rage out of her head and she sits down at her desk knowing that maybe she's doomed with this it inside of her. Bellatrix hears Cissy's voice saying that maybe she should express her feelings. She closes her eyes and she knows she has, just not in a goody way. She let other people feel the same pain she felt and still feels.
She tries to read the letter from Cissy again and again, finding the words blurred through her crimson tinted glasses that veil her vision.
Her rage is tinting everything with the color of dripping blood and the need for it to spill seems to be coming from an ancient source in her, her Black rage.
She finally grabs a single piece of parchment and writes a stiff reply to Cissy about how she is glad she is having fun with her days in Hogwarts. She tries to write the letter concealing her rage.
Thrice she had sealed the envelope and addressed it; twice she had called for her barn owl, only to send the creature back again; and once, only once, had she signed the bottom 'love you always'.
She can't write it. She feels as if her body is almost incapable of writing to her youngest sister-no her only sister- because the anger almost eats her alive. She feels like she doesn't have anything nice to say.
She locked herself far away in the Lestrange spare house the fool, Rodolphous, gave her until she calmed herself after her "tragedy". She couldn't stand him. The blind, weak fool. She decides she needs to save herself from being snapped in two ever again and freezes herself from the inside out. She tries to become numb and unfeeling, her emotions caged in her and she writes back.
Later, she takes her place as a devoted servant of her Lord, the man that reaches into her soul, and fights for him and her beliefs as well as his own. She keeps herself frozen and emotionless as if she was ethereal being distant from everything and everyone (except her Lord) until she sees Alice who has the same devotion to her husband as Andy did for that Mudblood. She finally loses control.
Her emotions that she keeps locked like the emotions in Pandora's box break free with a simple turn from the key, the trigger, and everything comes alive with an explosion of blood, and magic. She knows her Order of the Phoenix sister will hear of this so she slips in a message to her written in the couple's blood on the wall.
Dear Andromeda,
Your devotion deserves punishment and I will gladly punish you when we meet again.
