Watched Exposed (2x20) earlier today. Some of you may know my true love for Burster, and watching this episode truly makes me sad. So, why not write a tiny angst bit. So, here it is.
Her tears and sobs drown out her life for 15 hours. She went into work late the next day, stopping at the café on her way to work. She saw Cal and Emily inside having lunch but didn't bother talking to them. She wasn't in life, not for now at least. Gillian looked down at her menu, pausing when she noticed someone calling her name. She forced a smile onto her face when he asked how she was doing.
"Good." She said up to him, brushing a strand of hair out of the way. She smiled up at him until he told her he would see her at the office, going back inside to have lunch with Emily.
Fake a smile….it became her mantra. She didn't know how to get over it. She was in love with him, and he left without looking back. She didn't want to blame him, the agency or herself. She tried to tell herself that it was just a mixture of everything, wrong place, wrong time.
Day by day, it would get easier to breathe. She could move on, never get over him, and always love him.
