Once Upon a Time
Once upon a time there was a beautiful lady and a handsome man who were madly in love; they loved each other as much as one could love another. One day the beautiful lady found out she was going to have a baby and they were as happy as could be.
When the baby finally came the couple thought their life couldn't get any better. Then one day the man said he had to go away for a while, but he promised he'd be back soon.
As time went by the man still hadn't returned and the lady and her son were sad.
Soon the lady started going out and leaving her son all alone. The boy was lonely. Whenever the lady returned her sadness had become uncontrollable anger and she hit the boy, but he took it because he loved her.
The neighbors started whispering to each other about the boy's mother whenever he walked by, that made him angry because he thought his mother was a good person and didn't understand how they were blind to that. He made himself believe he deserved the cuts and bruises he wore because he thought he made his mother sad and angry.
One night two men broke into their apartment and scared the boy and his mother. The men were dangerous and killed the beautiful lady and her son.
But the boy woke up again in the morning, not with his mother, but with a snake living inside him and blood red eyes.
The boy was taken away to an orphanage where he was given the title 'liar' because he could no longer tell the truth from a trick, he tricked everyone. But while he was there he met two other children like him; a girl who was always disappearing, and a boy who heard thoughts that were not his own. The three were believed to be monsters because of crimson that painted their eyes.
In short time the three were inseparable, and were adopted together. They were finally treated as humans.
Memories of the past haunted them and they still believed they were monsters, but a little super hero wearing a red muffler was able to change their minds and showed them that red was a colour that hero's wore. Together they became super heroes and put an end to the crimes inside their heads.
But this happy time did not last long because a few years after their adoption, their new mother died. This time, it was not just them who were sad; their new father, and sister were sad also. But bless their sister who refused to cry and tried to stay strong.
Their lives became grimmer when their super hero died also.
At the funeral the liar watched everyone he loved cry through the mask he put on, his big sister wasn't there to be strong for them anymore, he had to be the strong one.
The liar, the invisible, and the monster were all alone again. Their new father left. Their new mother was gone. Their new sister was gone. It was them and the world.
Things didn't stay that way for long though; they built a new family and called themselves the Mekakushi Dan.
An invisible, a monster, a liar, a medusa, an idol, a virus, a neet, a boy, and an android, a new family, a new happy life.
The end... for now.
