It's easier to run
Kai Hiwatari lay in his bed in the hotel that the BladeBreakers were currently staying at getting ready for their next World Chamionships. He tossed over onto his side, with a pained look on his face. He appeared to be having a nightmare.
Replacing this pain with something numb
Kai's Dream
A younger Kai Hiwatari was running through what appeared to be dark, underground tunnels. He looked scared and lost. He was covered and black and blue bruises and bleeding wounds. His clothes were covered in dirt and blood and were ripped in random places. He tried to pick up speed with his small and unclad feet. He tripped on stone jutting out of the cobblestone floor. He fell landing hard on his chest. The ruby-eyed child let out a high-pitched cry of pain. He then struggled to stand.
It's so much easier to go
Loud yelling echoed through the corridors and shadows were cast on the wall in the torchlight. "I heard something down here!" A deep male voice said.
Four large men rounded the corner and stared into the face of a terrified child. Kai was now looking up a the men with tears in his eye. "No more...please.." He pleaded, while trying to shuffle himself along the cold cobblestone floor.
"Don't think your going to get any sympathy from us kid. You here for one purpose...and that purpose will be fulfilled...and we all will see to it...." The largest of the three said advancing on the child.
Then face all this pain here all alone
The man picked Kai up by his two-toned hair and held him up in front of his face. Kai clenched his teeth and closed his eye tightly at the pull.
Something has been taken from deep inside of me
The secret I've kept locked away no one can ever see
"I'll see to it...." The man said, "You bet I will.." He said with a sinister tone. Crystal tears slipped out of the corner of Kai's eyes.
"Hey, I'll give you something to cry about.." The man said and threw Kai to the floor. He let out a cry of pain as he hit the floor. The man looked over his shoulder and motioned for them to grab Kai. The two on the mans flanks walked up and grabbed Kai, by the arms and legs. "Somebody help me!" he screamed but that just resulted in a slap to the face. He listened to his cry die out.
"Now you'll be shown the punishment for running away from your duties..." The man smirked and led the men down the hall. Kai was kicking and screaming as they brought him into a room and shut and locked the door. "Now you'll be givin what you deserve..." He looked to the men on Kai's side. "Boys..." He looked back to Kai. "Strip him." Kai's eyes widened as he backed against the wall in fear.
Wounds so deep they never show they never go away,
Like moving pictures in my head for years and years they've played.
