Final Reflection
By: Reno13
A man appeared out of the mist flexing his metal hand and then disappeared into the shadows of Lucrecia's Cave. It had been at least a year since the Meteor had last shined in the sky and since the man had seen his friends. He closed his eyes. Voices of the past arose in his mind.
"Yes I'll come."
"Hello Yuffie."
"C'mon Vince!"
"Hello, Valentine."
" Um… Vincent, would you like to come over for dinner?"
" Good-bye Valentine."
" Seya Vince."
" Bye Vinnie!"
" I love you Vincent."
They were voices of the past, nothing more.
Memories.
The man weakly opened his eyes. Black beady eyes stared down at him. Then the coffin closed and he was shut off from the world for 30 years.
Pain.
" AHHHHHHHHHHHH," Vincent screamed writhing around in pain. Pain coursed through his body. He felt as if his bones were on fire and his blood was lava. As if he had grabbed two electrical lines. As if he was being squeezed in a vice.
Love.
He lay in bed beside the girl of his dreams.
" I love you, Lucrecia," he murmured.
" Love you Vince," she whispered and kissed his cheek. He pulled her warm body closer to his and fell asleep his heart filled with love.
Hate.
" Where is she?" Vincent screamed eyes burning with rage and hate.
" She is not yours, Valentine. She is mine," Hojo replied calmly. The Turk's green eyes burned with rage and hate and he began to advance on the scientist.
Betrayal.
" I am sorry, Vincent. I don't want you to get hurt," she whispered.
" But-"
" Leave me alone!" Lucrecia yelled. Betrayal burned in his heart as his lover turned to leave.
Vincent sighed. " If that is your wish."
" It is."
" Then I will go."
" Good."
" I love you Lucrecia." Vincent turned and left betrayal brimming in his eyes and spilling out over his cheeks leaving a wet trail.
The names.
Freak.
Monster.
Cold- blooded killer.
Turk.
Heartless bastard.
Freak.
Vincent glanced down at his claw. Yes he was a freak. And a monster. Something that did not deserve to live.
He pulled the Death Penalty from his jacket and quickly ended his life.
Good-bye my friends.
