ENDLESS LOVE
Yuuhi was cooking their dinner as he usually does. He was cutting the radish when he accidentally looked at Aya who was staring at the sky.
Six years have passed, and yet, she doesn't seem to forget him.
He continued cutting the vegetables.
I've been here for her for the pass six years. I never leave her side; I'm always taking care of her child.
But still….
She doesn't seem to realize that I still love her…
Yes, it is true that I have confessed my feelings for her before…
But it seems to me that she doesn't know it…
Ever since Touya disappeared she became a living zombie…
She only smiles when she sees her child who looks exactly like Touya…
"Yuuhi," Aya softly said.
"Yes Aya, what is it?"
"Do you think he's staring at the sky too?"
"Who?"
"Touya."
Yuuhi didn't answer, instead, he focused on cooking their dinner. After few minutes, the dinner was served. Aya called her child, together; the three of them ate their dinner.
The child went to his room and sleep while Aya and Yuuhi were left in the kitchen to wash the dishes.
"Aya," Yuuhi said while he was washing the dishes.
"What is it Yuuhi?"
"I.."
"You?" Aya answered confusedly.
"Nothing, don't mind it."
They continued what they were doing and when they finished it, Yuuhi gathered his strength and stared at Aya. He was determined to tell her how he feels for her.
"Aya, I really need to tell this to you, I've been wanting to tell you this but I'm such a coward. I'm scared that you might not understand how I feel."
"Yuuhi~" Aya was not even able to finish what she was about to say Yuuhi when he suddenly hugged her.
"I'm still inlove with you Aya, my feeling for you have never changed. I'm always here for you, and I will never leave your side. Please accept my love for you."
Aya did not answer, she just looked at the ceiling and listened to Yuuhi.
"Aya?" Yuuhi called her name as if he was waiting for her answer.
"I'm sorry Yuuhi, but I can't…"
"But why?"
"Coz I still love Touya."
As Yuuhi let go of Aya, tears fell down to his soft cheeks. He wiped it out so that Aya won't see it.
"I'm not planning to replace him, if you change your mind, if you realize that maybe or somehow you need me, if ever that day comes, please call me. Coz I'm willing to wait for you, even if it takes forever. Aya, you're the first and last girl that I will ever love."
Yuuhi walked away, that times he did not stop himself from crying. While walking, he saw a tree and punched it couple of times.
Aya just watched Yuuhi as he walked away, all of a sudden; she felt the tears falling down her cheeks.
"Yuuhi."
I'm….
I'm so sorry….
Aya's child came down and saw his mother crying, he walked toward her and hugged her.
"Mama, where is uncle Yuuhi?"
"He went home sweety."
"Will he come back?"
"Maybe," tears fell down her cheeks as she answered, "I hope he will."
Author's note: this is boring.. I know.. I just made this story coz I'm bored in my room .. if you like it.. then I thank you so much… if you don't , well I guess there's nothing that I can do about it…
This short story is just a preparation to Fate Across Time….
The title is endless love coz of Aya's endless love for Touya and Yuuhi's endless love for Aya…
If I saw some people interested to read a happy ending for Aya and Yuuhi if ever someone will make a review… I might write a story for the two to be happy…
