A/N: Okay, I have to warn you that there is reference to drug and alcohol use, gore, and cannabalism. The companion fic to this-I Don't Like The Drugs-should be published soon. It's way more gory. I own Tyler, that's it. Slightly disturbing drabble.
Twisted Sense of Humor
The students gaped at the dirty blonde haired American leaned against Harry. "Wait, let me get this straight…you…offered to let him eat you?" Hermione recalled Tyler's words, bewildered and
slightly horrified. The sixteen year old nodded, a strange smile curving her lips. "Are…are you alright in the head, Kennedy? Have you completely lost it? I mean, usually you're insane, but this…" Ron
trailed off, not really understanding the laughter that bubbled out of her mouth. "Did they…did they t-torture you?" Emerald eyes rolled. "She was missing a good chunk of mean from her thigh, but it's
all healed up now. Don't worry about her."
The American was doubled over, clutching her stomach, tears welling in the corners of her eyes. The students stared. Harry's own mouth curled up and he pressed a hand to his face, trying hard
not to join in on the laughter. "Hey, you two are talking again." Ron noted suddenly, just realizing. "Yes, well…" Tyler gasped in air, more laughter issuing from her. "I-I killed him," Her words were shaky
with mirth and satisfaction. "Without even trying!" "Wait, what?" Harry shook his head. "TJ was messed up. She'd taken all different kinds of drugs, and drank a lot of alcohol." He let his hand drop.
"She's used to that. Fenrir Greyback…" Laughter. "Well, he OD'd." "I'm fuckin' TOXIC!!"
It wasn't funny. Really. She'd been attacked by a werewolf cannibal, terrorized, and tortured. But she was laughing, Harry was laughing, and the entire situation was just so ridiculous that Ron
had to join in. He wasn't the only one. It was absurd. It was perturbing. And it was hilarious.
The bottom line was, Tyler Kennedy was toxic in one of the best and worst ways. Endless jokes were made, which she whole-heartedly participated in, going so far as to use her body as a threat. The
teachers didn't think it was funny, but the blonde didn't care. Harry wasn't mad at her anymore, her leg was healed, and she was slightly disturbed, but okay. So far, it was a good year.
