The Calm after the Storm
It had been a long day for the detectives. They had finally caught the guy, who had beaten his kid to a bloody pulp. They had found him drowning his sorrows away in a bar. Olivia and Elliot just wanted to get home to the kids. But knowing how hard this case had been for everyone, they invited everyone even Casey back to their house to unwind. Back at the Stabler house, Kathleen was supposed to be babysitting Lizzie and Dickie. However, she just stuck them in front of a new PS2 game and went into her room with Jennifer. Jen and Kathleen had started hanging out after Jet had dumped her. Jen understood her; she made her life worth living once again. When her parents would fight, Jen was there. When Olivia moved in, Jen was there. Now this one day, when Jen and Kathleen were hanging out, Jen leaned in and kissed Kathleen. Being raised in a very strict Catholic home, Kathleen jumped up and asked Jen to leave. Kathleen had tried to start dating once again, but her mind always fell on Jen. As time slowly passed, Kathleen returned Jen's affections and kissed her back and for a while they considered themselves friends with 'benefits".
But today was a special day: it was their three-month anniversary. Of being exclusive and to celebrate, they wanted to take it to the next level. They were in bed together when Jen leaned up on one of Kathleen's pink pillows and looked around her girlfriend's room. The walls were a pale white, but you could hardly see them since she had them plastered with posters. Smiling to herself she turned to Kathleen.
"Sweetie?" She called snapping Kathleen from her daydream.
"Yeah," Kathleen finally answered.
Alarm bells went off in Jen's head: Kathleen only dazed out like that when she was depressed.
"What were you thinking about?" She pressed.
"Just my dad."
As Kathleen leaned in for a kiss Jen backed away.
"We're in bed together and you're thinking about your dad!"
"No, not in that way," Kathleen whispered," I was thinking about how you saved me from a dark place, and how I wish I could tell my dad about us."
"Oh, sweetie, he wouldn't understand," Jen answered, leaning back down to kiss Kathleen.
As the kiss deepened and clothes started to come off, Kathleen rolled over and hit her alarm clock off the bed to the floor. Neither girl saw the blinking 9:00pm. Outside, the gang had pulled up to Liv and Elliot's new house. As they walked through the door, the twins jumped on them ecstatic.
Giving Lizzie a kiss Elliot asked, "Hey sweetie, where's Kathleen?"
"Uh, in her room, Dad. She wasn't feeling well."
He made his way to the back of the house. Upon approaching Kathleen's door, he knocked once before opening it.
"Kathleen," He started, but, before he could finish, he saw his daughter half naked with another girl.
Kathleen looked up at the sound of her name. She saw her dad standing in the doorway and she quickly covered her self up.
"Dad, I can explain."
" What the hell is this!" Elliot screamed, " Get dressed and get your ass out of this room, we'll talk later."
When he emerged into the living room, he saw all the concerned faces of his colleagues.
Liv was the first to speak, " El, what happened?"
Before she could get an answer, Kathleen and Jennifer emerged dressed but their hair was all disheveled. Any idiot could tell what Elliot had walked in on.
