Harry sat outside the store on one of the benches in the muggle mall with a few shopping bags beside him. He cursed the day Hermione first took Ginny to this place. Ever since their first shopping trip, the pair always came back every weekend. The only problem was that today, Hermione wasn't feeling well, so Ginny insisted on bringing Harry along.

Harry didn't mind the mall. It was a magical place really. All the different little devices and innovations the muggles came up with were fascinating, especially those large television sets that were always tuned to muggle sports. He loved when they went to buy the amazing, delicious and obviously fattening muggle food like hamburgers and pizza. The fashion and outfits were sometimes odd but definitely attractive. The part he hated was how long Ginny would spend in every store they passed.

Every single store which sold women's clothes, Ginny would have to stop in. It didn't matter that she didn't buy anything most times. 'That was the fun of shopping,' she tried explain, but Harry couldn't understand. How could it be fun to constantly try on clothes for what felt like hours?

Harry's leg jittered under his elbow and he looked at his watch. She had already spent 30 minutes in this little boutique. Based on the mannequins he could see from his bench, Harry thought some of the clothes looked nice, but most of them were gaudy. What could his girlfriend actually find in that store that she would like?

Ginny walked over to him with a large smile on her face and a small pink bag in her hand. She held it out and said happily, "I have a surprise for you."

He stood up suddenly and said with a frown, "What took you so long, Ginny? We only have about an hour left before your mum is expecting us back for dinner."

Ginny's smile fell as she said, "I didn't take that long, Harry. Don't exaggerate. We have plenty of time before that."

"I doubt that. We have four more stores on this stretch alone and I know you'll want to stop in everyone," he said as he gestured down towards them.

Ginny looked down at the stores before she narrowed her eyes at him and said, "Fine. Have it your way. Let's just leave now." She handed him her pink bag to put with the others and then stalked off towards the exit.

Harry sighed. Now Ginny was mad at him. But then he realized she had mentioned a surprise. He secretly peaked into her little pink bag before snapping it shut with a blush. He quickened his pace a bit and then leaned down to her ear to whisper, "So, your surprise?"

Ginny's frown was then replaced with a flirtatious smile and a wink. "I'm not so sure I want to give it to you now," she said with a weak glare.

He smiled at her and said, "We have an hour, Ginny. Maybe we can stay a little longer then."
