Hi everyone! This is a new story from me (obviously). I guess I just couldn't contain my ideas to myself. I needed to let it all out.
Seriously, I have like 3 ideas in my head, just floating. D:
I really, really tried my best to explain the first chapter since it's the history, the basis, the plot starter. I'm sorry if there are some errors here and there. I wrote this at around 2 AM... It's those times where I suddenly have ideas sprouting in my head.
This is a Pokespe (or Pokemon Adventures) fanfic. It's not the anime (so no Ash). Although I may incorporate some movies that were made.
Enough with blabbering. Please enjoy Chapter 1!

The world of Pokémon – a spinning globe of wonderment, home to an infinite array of creatures too varied to fully comprehend.
Hundreds, perhaps thousands, meticulously fashioned by the forces of nature in all its glory, as only nature can. And no matter what corner of the world you find yourself, rest assured, you'll find Pokémon there as well.
Soaring overhead, skimming the clouds… and riding the currents undersea. Sharing the mountains' majesty… and animating our many lush green forests, happily making their home in fields of grass, while even our sprawling cities are teeming with them.
People and Pokémon find common ground, sharing the goal of victory in the Pokémon battle, fighting to become friends, comrades, and Pokémon masters.
Until that day… when people, specifically four, suddenly fought not with a pokemon, but against a pokemon.
They fought against Arceus, the god of all pokemon.
And they succeeded in defeating and capturing the almighty pokemon. With a little bit of science and technology, they had also managed to steal its powers and implant it in themselves, using it as if they were their own.
They stole Arceus' powers.
And with the power they gained, they started to wreck every region, doesn't matter if it was Kanto, Orre or even Oblivia, just to gain authority. This alarmed every respective legendaries that reside in their area. The Diving Pokemon known as Lugia suddenly emerged from Whirl Islands to protect Johto. The four members of Sword of Justice came to help the people in Unova despite their indifference to humans. Even the Pokemon that is known to sleep for a thousand years woke up, just to protect Hoenn and the world. The representations of time, space, and even anti-matter stood and tried to defeat them four.
But they didn't succeed. No legendary succeeded in defeating them. They were too powerful… and for being legendaries and a pokemon, they were ashamed to admit that they were defeated by mere humans.
Time came and went, and the pokemon realized that some people started to be hungry for power as well. They harmed pokemon, forced them to fight for their gain and benefit. They wanted to be stronger, more powerful…
It was utter chaos.
Finally, Arceus snapped. Using its remaining powers, the pokemon released itself forcefully from the pokeball that captured him. As soon as he was released, he tried to fight off the four people but still, Arceus couldn't win. That time, Arceus decided something that would change the history of pokemon forever.
Arceus decided to take away all the pokemon.
He took away all the pokemon, big or small, legendary or not, he took them all, not leaving any species behind. Then it finally teleported somewhere, to rest and gain its powers that he lost.
Nobody knew when it will come back.
And with Arceus gone, The four people became the gods.
After the chaos, people started restoring the world in its former glory, but it was hard. Without the pokemon helping them, it was impossible to do this with their bare hands. That was the time they realized how much they relied on pokemon, and how much they were important to their lives.
Then one day, a pokemon came back into the world, the pokemon that is said to hold all the genetic codes of pokemon in its DNA. It left a gift for the people then vanished into thin air. Then one man suddenly lit his hands on fire with no explanation whatsoever and one person suddenly levitated a table unconsciously. Two abilities that could only be performed by a pokemon.
And that's when they realized they had elemental powers like the pokemon.
Mew had given them elemental powers.
The people were happy. With these powers, they were finally able to restore the world and use them to good. Though some people chose the other way and used it for themselves.
Thus, a new age, a new generation begun.
The pokemon left, and the humans stayed.
Now with elemental powers given to them…
They themselves became the pokemon.
With Mew's last appearance and their newfound powers, the people have been really successful at restoring their home the way it was before the Dark Ages.
Those who received the Grass type were in charge of restoring the greens all over the world.
The Water types were tasked to clean and replace the ones that were destroyed during the war.
The Ground and Rock types were assigned to fix whatever landscape and landforms that were destroyed in the war.
People from all over the world collaborated with each other thus, speeding up the process. Not only that, but they were also learning more about their powers at the same time.
For example, they have discovered that each person represented a Pokemon based on their typing and abilities. The rate of the rarity was also the same as the rarity of the Pokemon they represented. So there were common types such as the Normal types who represented the Rattata line, while the others are gifted with the rare and powerful Dragon type who represented a Pokemon like the Dragonite line.
Those who had children after the war have also discovered that their children did not always gain the type of their parents. Most of the time, it was different, unless they are part of a family line like the Berlitz and the Solaris who represented one single type. There are times that the children can gain dual-types but, it had a low chance of happening unless both of the parents are dual-types as well.
They have also discovered the limitations in their powers. With almost the same concept as power points (or PP for short), their powers relied on the amount of "element" inside their body. The larger your amount of element is, the longer you can last and the more you can use your powers. The amount differed from each other, making them even more diverse from people who had the same power as them. Once you have depleted your element, you cannot use your powers anymore until it has filled up again.
They have also discovered that they could use the same moves that the Pokemon they represented. So a person who is a Psychic type and represented the Ralts line may use powers such as Confusion and Psychic, but not Fire Blast nor Leaf Blade. They could use these attacks as many times as they want provided that they have the element to consume for it.
To discover even more of their powers, the 4 Lords, who are now considered as their new gods, established some institutions that could research about it.
There it was discovered that there is a second way of obtaining a second type, and that is training for it. A person must either surround himself to an environment of the second type of their choosing, or they could learn from someone of another type and be trained by them. They must do these until the element inside their body adapts to the change. However, this takes a huge amount of effort and patience due to the amount of time it takes (months, or even years), so most of the people who learned of this fact didn't even bothered with it.
Another thing that they have discovered is that a person may and can create their own unique move for themselves. This relied on their imagination, skill, and their element inside their body. However, only one unique move can be learned by a person.
With these discoveries, the 4 Lords then decided to introduce something that added another milestone to their world.
They introduced tournaments.
These tournaments were held almost every day. Many people participated in these events to satisfy their thirst for challenge and violence.
Then one time, the 4 Lords held a special tournament in every region on the same day. In that tournament, there were 18 categories, one for each type, and the winners of those categories would then battle each other to place in the top 8.
The winners were then called the "8 Pillars". They were the people who are the first line of defense when their respective region gets in danger.
Another special tournament was held in each region, but this time, only four people would be chosen out of 18. These are people who will then be called the "Elites". Although they are stronger than the Pillars, they serve the same purpose as them.
The last special tournament, which is only held once a year, was the one where the "Champions" get decided. Only one from every region gets to be selected to be in the group. They were considered as the strongest of their respective region, as well as having the most control over their place.
These three groups worked under the 4 Lords and mainly serve them, whether they want it or not.
The 4 Lords then established schools for children to study and train their powers and assigned people whom they have selected to lead and run the schools they made.
It was that time when the "clan system" was created inside the campus. It had the same concept as the Pillars, Elites, and Champion, minus the tournament. The students formed clans that had themes in which people can join as long as they meet the requirements of that clan. Some clans grew big enough to spread out across the region, like the Frontier clan, while the others were only for the schools which acted like a club of sorts for them.
Though the 4 Lords made the world a good place to live for everyone, there were still some people who were still against them. These are the minority who wanted the world back to what it was before. Even though the powers made them stronger and more capable, they wanted the Pokemon back - because that's how this world was from the start.
One of them was Samuel Oak, also known as Professor Oak by many people.
He is the head of the school known as the Indigo University – the most prestigious school in the whole world. It was said that when a student graduates from the school, it is certainly guaranteed for that student to have a successful life ahead. It is considered the best of the best, and many try their best to pass the admission test.
Professor Oak didn't let anyone know anyone about his animosity towards the 4 Lords. He has dedicated all his life, researching on how to get back the Pokemon, and bring back what was once theirs. He believes that life would still be better if there were Pokemon around.
In order to further progress his goal, he then established a clan that would help him in his work. It would be made up of 18 students, each for every type. Only those who perk the interest of their leader are the ones who get to join the clan. Though the number of members isn't complete yet, they have already established their name to the world.
They were considered as the best, and the strongest clan there is in their generation.
That clan was called the "Dex".
And this is their story.

As you can guess, this is a magic type thing, kinda like Fairy Tail. Actually, Fairy Tail inspired me, as well as K project.
If you can give me some reviews, I would appreciate. Also if I could improve my writing, then I'll appreciate that also. I appreciate criticism, but not flames. I hate flames.
Edit: I was told by someone that I should merge Chapter 1 and 2 since they're kinda the same so... I did. Haha.
