Mel the House Elf
It was 10 am, and a bedraggled looking house elf stumbled down the stairs into the kitchen. "Mornin' Smith," he slurred to his master as he scratched his buttocks.
"Mel! Get me my tea!"
"Geesh, man, chill. Just get it yourself," he nodded toward the pot just two feet away on the stove top as he pulled out a cigarette.
"Elf!"
"I know, I know, not in the house." Mel lit his cigarette and dragged his feet all the way out the door. He took a few puffs, pulled out a new cigarette, and lit it. He took a few long drags, and lit a third. This continued until Snoggs, his counterpart appeared at the door.
"You've been a baaad baaaad elf, Mel," the other house elf almost wept
Mel fingered the gold ring through his floppy, pointed ear. "I think I'll have some breakfast." He walked into the glamorous home of his master, and plopped down at the kitchen table. "Elf!" he called Snoggs, "Get me some eggs, sausage, and wine. Pronto!" He reached up and charmed away the hangover he was beginning to feel. It had been a good night.
