You were a comet in the nighttime sky,
I looked up, you shining in my eyes,
You out shined all the other stars,
but I could only view you from afar.
You filled my life,
nothing else but you in my eyes.
But, just like a comet,
You were soon gone.
And even then, I couldn't get you out of my mind,
I shouldn't have missed my chance and taken my time,
I can still picture your pretty green eyes,
your personality, your beautiful mind.
Oh what would I do to have you,
But sadly, my wish won't come true.
