Earth. Our Beloved Beautiful Earth torn to shreds, ravaged, Scorched with war and hatred. For ages the denizens of earth have lived in relative peace. Through times of loss, sadness, terrorism, and other turmoils mother earth has found its way through. Unfortunately, the light at the end of the tunnel has burned out and all hope has been crushed at the hands of pure evil and greed. All who have spoken out or merely had the thought of a world without violence and hatred have been obliterated from our forsaken planet. It wasn't until about the year 2700 that a source hope has returned for the lost souls of humanity.
Factions of rebels have been fighting from the very beginning of the rise of evil. At first these factions were frowned upon by society (well, that is, when there still was one) Of the many brave men,women, and Reploids who have helped to delay the pure destruction of all hope (may they rest in peace) this story focuses on the tales of three factions. They are The Gears of War: Delta Squad, The Spartan Noble Team, and the Maverick Hunters.
