The Land of the Rising Sun; a land in the far east, rich in greens and cultures. The residences of the land live in harmony where they are divided into five races. The royalties who governed them all; the Tengoku Race consisting of deities. The soldiers who will fight for those royalties; the Shinki Race. Although they often think of themselves closer to slaves to the royalty rather than mere soldiers. Next are the commoners, the Human Race. The prisoners of the underworld, the Jigoku Race. And lastly, the wanderers who don't belong to any of the other races, the Lost Spirit. They are considered the lowest race of the five. They are forbid to be granted any territory of the land, forced to wander all their lives.
This is a story of the youngest goddess of Shichi Fukujin, the most influential household from the Tengoku Race whose fate intertwines with a Shinki whom she wished to call as her own. For thousands of years, the royalties from Tengoku will perform a ritual on Shinki. Through those rituals, a royal member can call the Shinki as their own and use them as an item for various tasks. This act is considered noble to the Tengoku as they claimed that it is to rescue those Shinki before they are corrupted and fell into the realm of Lost Spirit. However, the Shinki had always despised it as they believed that it is slavery, snatching their freedom away as the ritual was usually performed against their will.
"Speak! What brings you to this territory?" asked the man who stood in front of her. He wore a serious expression as his pair of dark red eyes looked directly into hers.
Kofuku examined the man in front of her closely neglecting the pain that she felt earlier. He has a black shoulder-length hair which he combed to the back. His figure was well built, twice the size of herself.
"State your reason now!" said the man again, now raising his voice.
Kofuku startled slightly as she gathered her voice, "You look so hot!" –not exactly what she wanted to say, so she was taken aback with the words that had come out of her mouth but it was too late to take those words back.
Daikoku looked at the pink-haired goddess in agony. He had no time to play along with this stupid joke. He took a step back and made his way into the woods.
"Wait!" the voice of the goddess made him pause his steps. "Please be mine!" she said again.
Daikoku was stunned with what he just heard. Confused, he turned around to take a good look at the goddess again. She appeared so determined and he realized that this was not just a simple, stupid joke.
