Ok. So, a few years ago I read a Ghost Hunt fanfiction (not sure if it was on or on wattpad). If any of you know this story please let me know the name and maybe a Link would be great too. I have tried looking but can't seem to find it. Then again, I don't remember what its name was so makes it harder to find. Anyway, here is how the story went about.
Set after the manga ending. Naru returns to japan after like 5 or 6 years.
Everyone is still working in SPR. Lin has been visiting them in these past years.
Lin has gotten closer to Mai and is very protective of her because there was an incident where she was like in a convenience store or something and some crazy guy attacked her and slashed her stomach with a knife multiple times and almost killed her until Lin saved her. Naru does not know of this
They go on a case to some hotel regarding a female ghost who is killing people or children or something.
There was something about bones of the killed people being stacked in the closet
Gene knows about what happened to Mai.
The ghost lady is actually the one to show Naru what happened to Mai
Something about Mai being near a lake or something and falling in during the case and Naru saves her. ( I think it was this story but I could be mixing it up with another.)
Also I remember this kind of: if im not wrong the story began with Naru and Lin in the plane or car or something and Lin wars Naru to be nice to Mai and Naru wonders why Lin would say such a think and what happened to Mai that Lin said that
