Lily Potter and the Shadow Cast
Lily Potter is not a hero.
That's her father. All she wants is to fit in, to be normal. But that can never be accomplished for her. Don't get me wrong, she loves carrying the Potter name. It's hard though, being how she is. She isn't like James, she isn't incredibley brave.
And she was reminded that when he talked about his stories at Hogwarts."-And Peeves tried to scare my girlfriend, and I totally saved her!"
Lily bit on her lip, she heard about Peeves. She looked up at her parents, who were scowling hastily."What if I get in Slytherin?"Lily whispered to her mother."I hope I get in Gryffindor...or Ravencla-"
"Whatever house you get in, they will be very, very lucky."Harry smiled down at her eleven year old daughter.
Lily smiled, brushing a piece of red hair out of her face. She had inherited her mothers flaming hair and eyes, and her fathers facial structure. You could easily tell she was blessed with beauty.
"Lil, you should know..."James started.
"Oh, goodness, James! Stop scaring your siblings to death!"Ginny said.
James grinned, laughing."I was just going to tell her to watch out for Scorpius. He's a real trouble maker."
Ginny sighed with relief."Thank god."she muttered.
Lily looked around, as Hogwarts Express pulled up to the station."There it is! There it is!"she shrieked, giggling.
Harry smiled. Ginny started crying."My last child, finally going to Hogwarts!"she hugged Lily.
James looked at the other Potter, Albus. They sighed. Ginny sniffled, letting go."Go hug your father, Lily."she said, hugging Albus and James.
Lily hugged her father."I'll miss you!"he told his youngest child.
"I'll miss you, too."Lily said, hugging him tight.
The three potter children smiled once more, then boarded the train to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
