A/N: Still working on one-shots since I'm still stuck on Part of You.
They had been arguing for over an hour. Neither could remember what exactly had started the fight anymore. Olivia had stopped kicking herself for trying to argue with a lawyer long ago. As the argument continued, the less effective her retorts grew.
As the retorts got worse, the more confidence it gave Alex. The more confident she became, the sway of her hips became cockier. The more her hips swayed, the less Olivia could focus on what exactly either of them was saying.
"Sit down," Olivia finally snapped.
Alex blinked quickly as she unconsciously obeyed. "Why?"
"Because I can't focus with you walking around like that," Olivia said through gritted teeth.
"Like what?" Alex asked still trying to gain her equilibrium from being commanded to do something and actually doing it.
"All confidence and swagger."
"What?" Alex asked blinking in confusion.
"The more we argue, the more you're right. You're a freaking lawyer for God's sakes; winning an argument with a detective shouldn't be that big of a deal Alex. The more you're right, the more you sway your hips. The more you sway your hips, the less I can focus on the argument. The less focused I am, the more you're right."
A small grin formed on Alex's face. "My hips?"
Olivia sighed and ran a hand through her hair. "Yes, your hips."
"You've never complained about my hips before." The grin became a smirk as Alex stood and made her way to her office door. She shut and locked the door, smirk still in place as she turned back to face Olivia.
"Yeah well, I've never been trying to actually focus on something while I've been admiring your hips." A small smile of her own was growing on Olivia's face.
A low, throaty chuckle escaped Alex's lips as she made her way towards Olivia. There was an all knew swagger to her hips this time. This time, it was all seduction.
"Alex," Olivia growled in warning.
"Hmm," Alex said with a teasing light in her eyes, belying the darkening blue of arousal as she slowly wrapped her arms around Olivia's neck to play with the short tufts of hair.
"We are in your office in the middle of the day," she argued, actions contradicting the statement as she stepped closer and wrapped her arms around Alex's waist.
"You shouldn't have mentioned my hips. Or have been staring at me like that," Alex mumbled as she lazily began kissing and nibbling along Olivia's jaw line to her ear.
"You shouldn't be so damn cocky." Olivia sighed as she leaned in further and nuzzled against Alex's cheek.
Alex leaned back, never losing bodily contact, smiling and looked in her eyes. "And we should skip the whole argument this time and get to the part where you're talking about my hips again."
Olivia tilted her head to capture her lips in a passionate kiss. "As you wish Counselor."
