'Thirteen, man, I'm telling you.'
Michael choked on his beer. 'Thirteen? He was – '
'Thirteen,' Lincoln affirmed. 'Remember how Lisa used to pay the girl next door for French tuition?'
'But she was sixteen!' Michael exclaimed, eyes wide open in disbelief, and what Sara guessed was probably a touch of admiration.
Silence ensued as the news sunk in, and all that could be heard was Sara shaking her head in amusement and the soft drone of the television.
Then;
'He really is your son.'
'It's what I've been saying, man,' Lincoln grinned, cracking open another beer and putting his feet up on the coffee table. 'It's what I've been saying.'
