Lyra and Pan have spent a few years at St. Sophia's collage for girls. Studying the alethiometer with Dame Hannah.

St. Sophia's was in North Oxford over looking the plains by a small lake with big oak trees all around it. Lyra had spent her last few years at St. Sophia's collage for girls, her studies were on the Alethiometer. She spent a lot of time with her instructor Dame Hannah.
Lyra and Pantalaimon spent time by the lake when they had time. Pan was Lyra's daemon, Lyra's soul. Dame Hannah was not their, she was on a much needed vacation in the Alp's. She would not be back for several weeks. That meant that Lyra and Pan got a vacation. Today they were going to go down to the lake. She would normally go into Oxford but the master of Jordan Collage pasted away a few months ago.
It was early when Lyra and Pan woke, she was sitting by her window over looking the lake when Pan interrupted her thoughts and said to her, "you are thinking about him (There was one person on her mind that she thought about the most sense they had parted from one another). That was Will! She looked at her Pan and said. "yes I am"... Pan was getting agetated with her she was in one of those modes where she did not want to talk. As she thought of him she thought she saw something moving by the trees she so often sat by on a warm summers day.
Lyra thought of how Will used to run his fingers though her hair, and how she would melt in his arms. There it is again something is by the trees! With Lyra's heart pounding she said. "Pan I am going outside to see what is out by the lake," and walked out of her room. Pan quickly ran to catch up with her before she left the house.
"Lyra" Pan said. What are you doing?
"I was daydreaming about Will while I was looking at the lake, I saw something down their". I want to see what it was.
"Pan are you coming"?
"Lyra" Pan said. Are you sure you saw something down by the lake?
"Yes Pan I am".
They ran to the front door, and outside to the padio. Lyra looked out toward the lake. She could not see anything from here so she went down the patio steps. She turned around to see if Pan was coming. He was right at her side. She turned to looked out toward the lake agian. "Pan whatever it was it is not there now. Pan I want to see if tea is ready". She turned to go back toward the patio.
There was someone in her path! It was the one person she wanted to see for the past 10 or so years, her love Will.
It was Will who spoke first. Will said to Lyra "you are more beautiful than I could have dreamed"! Lyra could not say anything she could not believe her eyes.
Then she found her voice, and asked. "how did you get here Will"? Well remember when Xaphania told us that we could travel by our imagination?
Lyra stood there she thought, then she remembered. "I do remember Will but I thought that would be impossible"? Will said. "No it is not, I will teach you how to do the seeing and we can travel from your world and mine".
Will said. "It is not easy to travel between the world's Lyra but I can teach you". "It will be like flying like a bird Lyra"!
After a few moments of looking at her face, the face that he had missed for so long Will grabbed her and kissed her deeply.
