•••Prologue•••

In the beautiful region of Unova, caution had arisen from each town and each city. The daily lives of pokémon and people have been uprooted into a new sense of danger. Yet again it seemed the life the world prospered off of had wavered like candle in the wind.

The activities of a gang with no morals had thrown away any sense of having pokémon as companions, and simply treated them as tools in their despicable experiments. They exposed the nature of pokémon into a cruel, unforgiving darkness. The creatures had no choice but to succumb to the amplified power and be thrown into a merciless rage. This rage was the heart of the gang's motives, as they hoped to abuse the strength and terrorise the human population. This would leave them on top in the world of fear and scarce understanding.

It was the perfect crime.
