~Welcome to Night Vale~
Carlos shifted as he read from his laptop, checking notes that one of his scientists sent to him. A report on what new things they'd discovered. He worked on it cleaning it up as well as adding his own findings. He shifted over as Cecil sat down next to him, giving him room. Carlos reached up fixing his glasses before he continied typing. Cecil leaned into him laying his head on the scientists shoulder.
"What are you doing?" He asked.
"Just finishing up the final report to send in..." Carlos answered. "My team and I are done here once I've sent it..."
"Done...?" Cecil asked frowning.
"Yes. Our research of Night Vale will be done after tonight... my team leaves tomorrow." Carlos replyed as he read over the report again.
"T-tomorrow...?" He heard the radio host chock. Carlos frowned his eyes snapping to his boyfriend.
"Yes... Ceec? Whats wrong?" The scientist asked as cecil pulled away looking ready to cry.
"...You're... you're leaving?" He whimpered quietly. Carlos blinked in confusion, then chuckling as he realized the problem.
"...oh... Querido... no. No I'm not. My team is leaving, I'm staying here." Carlos said smiling, wrapping an arm around his lover and pulling him close. Cecil wrapped his arms around Carlos's neck.
"You are?"
"Of course, why would I leave you?" Carlos asked smiling "I love you to much, Ceece." He leaned down and kissed Cecil gently. Cecil kissed back.
