Juunanagou And The Kitten
He got up from his favourite chair, and slipped his coat and boots on, "I hate work..", he muttered to himself.
"..I'm so powerfull, yet I cut down trees for a job..", he continued to mutter as he opened the and stepped outside.
It was pretty cold outside, a human or animal probibly couldn't take it, not that he was either one.
"Stupid Gero...It's probibly because of him that I'm a lumberjack....", he stood out on the porch and talked to himself, "..You know your life is sad when you have conversations with yourself...".
"Mewwww..."
"What was that?", he asked out loud.
No one answered.
"Meeeewwww!"
"Huh?", he turned around to see a tiny ball of cream coloured fur sitting on his welcome mat, HIS welcome mat.
"Hey, you! Ya you with the fur! Get off my mat!", he commanded that stupid ball of fur.
"Hey! I said get off my porch!", he tried again.
It didn't move.
"That's my welcome mat, and you aren't welcome, so get off!", he yelled.
That little ball of fur looked up at him with the most sad look he had ever seen in all his life, "Mewwwww.....", it purred quietly.
Juunana walked over and scooped up the little kitten, "You feel cold. What's wrong animal?", the only responce he got was the simple, "Mewww..." he got like before.
He put the kitten down again and took off his favourite bandana, "You better be thankfull for this..", he picked the kitten back up, placed it carefully into the bandana and brought it into his cabin.
"You know, I don't like animals, right?", he told the kitten.
"Meeewww..."
".....and you know your lucky that I don't blow you to bits too, huh?"
"Meeeeeeeeeeeeewwwwwwwwwww!!"
"That means yes, huh?", he laughed at himself.
He sat the cat, in his bandana on his favourite chair.
"There, you've taken over my house! Happy?", he asked the kitten.
It got up, scratched it's way out of his bandana ripping through it with it's little claws, jumped off the chair, walked over to Juunana, and started to snuggle his legs.
"Hey! You've got my bandana, my now quite ripped bandana, and you've got my chair! But you can't have me, I have to go to work already! So just sit here and sleep, ok?"
"Meeeewwwwwwwww....", the kitten looked up at him with it's eyes full of fear for being left alone, by itself in a new enviroment, where everything was bigger than it.
"I can't take you out with me...", he said and looked down. But as soon as he looked into the little kitten's eyes he couldn't say no...
"Alright already! You can come, just be good!", he instructed as he picked up the kitten and placed it in his pocket, "You just better not get in my way!"
Juunanagou was actully quite suprized that he liked having the animal around, "Hey, you ok in there?", he asked as he gentelly patted the pocket containing the kitten. "Meeeeewwwwwww", It meowed back it's response.
After his work was done, he came back to the house, the kitten sitting now on his shoulder. For some reason, he just knew he shouldn't have wished for something to talk to...
