Keiko 2

I DO NOT OWN INUYASHA!

-This story is meant to be a sequel to a story I write 4 years ago in 2010, Keiko.

Chapter One: First Date Permission

"Keiko, help me with the laundry," I said to my eldest daughter.

"Mother, do I have to? I was just about to go out with Hideki," Keiko whined.

I sighed, "What does your father think of this idea?" I looked up at Inuyasha who was standing just behind her.

Keiko saw me glance behind her and spun around. "Dad, please, can I go?"

"Your mother needs help with the laundry, and besides, you are too young to be alone with boys," he replied.

She turned back to me and mumbled something under her breath.

"What was that, sweetheart?" I asked.

"We had a date planned today!" she shouted at me.

I was so happy for my baby girl that I squealed and smiled wide. "That's so great, dear! You can go. I will ask Manami to help me."

"Kagome!" Inuyasha shouted to me. "Why would you let her go!? She is too young to date!"

"Dad...I am not!" Keiko complained.

"You go a head, Keiko; I will deal with your father," I ushered her towards Sango and Miroku's family's hut.

"She's too young, Kagome," Inuyasha said to me once Kaiko was gone.

"Oh, Inuyasha, she is almost 16! I was her age when you and I got together."

"Well, that's-that's different!"

"Oh, yeah? How so?"

Inuyasha stammered, "W-w-well, it's different because-because-"

I interjected, "Because you aren't ready to let her go."

"Feh."
