Numb.

That was all she felt.

Nothing.

Numbness flowed through her veins.

She walks through life,

Numb and chilled.

Her purpose had left her,

Abandoned,

Alone.

She couldn't cry anymore.

She didn't dare think of him.

It brought too much pain now.

A pain that was physical and emotional.

She walks the road of life,

Cold.

Alone.

One thought streaking through her head.

It will be as if I never existed.

That was what he had said,

When he had left her,

Alone.

When he had left her on that day,

The day he had broken her,

Chilled her.

Left her with wounds that may never truly heal.

Numb and alone,

She walks the road of life.
