Note: The title may change a multitude of times because I'm not good with naming books. Also, it's my first book here, so please don't judge yet.
Chole sat on the couch with a book curled in her lap. So whatever parents were out of town? She can act like they were here. She acted as if they were watching her like a hawk. In Chole's mind, they were. No matter where they were, Chole thought that they were right next to her. That's why Chole never left the house. She would pretend that her parents were with her and she'd think that they're doing everything. In the true universe, nothing would happen. A delusional nineteen year old talking to space. Her parents locked anything that would allow Chole to escape. They couldn't risk anything at this point. Choke didn't know she was different. She thought that she was normal and not delusional like everyone else saw her.
After finishing her chapter, Chole got up and walked to the office. It had only one window but one window was enough. Chole looked through the window and saw a forest. Not the usual streets. Trees, vines, animals, and flowers is what she saw. The forest was exotic. Chole wanted to shatter the glass and go out. Though, her parents wouldn't approve. Chole turned her back but when she did, the forest started to grown inside! Chole looked around a gasped in amazement. What had happened? How did the forest get in? Whatever the case was, Chole didn't care. The forest was in the house! Chole brushed her short black hair to the side and looked around. She couldn't let anything as amazing as this go unexplored! Chole walked ahead a little and she looked around. The vines draped down, sometimes snagging her short skirt. She got stratches on her shoulders and arms. Choke didn't care.
Chole walked led until she heard a noise. It was a fox. A red fox with white paws and muzzle. It's ears were tipped with a dark red and it's eyes were Morpho Butterfly-blue color. There was a black moon symbol on it's head. Chole crouched down and looked the fox in the eye. "Hi." Chole said, her voice sweet and soft. The fox drew back a little. Chole moved back as well. The fox stayed there and moved it head to the side. Chole followed. She didn't know wether or not to copy the fox. The fox moved forward slowly. It's eyes had caution and it's stance showed it was ready to fight. Chole swiftly held her hand out. The fox leaped back. Chole kept her hand out. The fox moved closer again and sniffed her hand. The moon symbol on the fox's forehead turned yellow. The fox looked up and met Chole's brown eyes. The moon symbol turned red and the fox bowed its head. 'Have I earned its respect?" Chole though but she didn't portray it. The fox made a dog-like bark but it didn't sound harsh. It sounded like it was calling something.
Then out of the bushes came many more foxes. All different shades, colors, and designs but they all had the same moon symbol on their forehead. 'What is going on?' Chole thought. The foxes surrounded her. A red aura swirled around the circle and then it seemed to connect one fox to another until the point where it looked like a Spirograph and Chole was in the middle. The aura started to change colors depending on what fox it touched. Chole let out a worried whimper. What was going on. The multicolored Spirograph started to circle high above Chole and then came crashing down, creating multicolored aura dust. The red fox with Morpho Butterfly-blue eyes opened its mouth and what came out of it was unbelievable. "Welcome Veriatar." (Very-uh-tar)
