Dawn of a New Day
Preface
A few days ago if you would have told me that this would have happened I would not have believed you. I always planned on my life being like this, but I never expected it to happen this way.
Chapter 1
BPOV:
Today I'm getting married to Edward Cullen, last week I wasn't this excited. Now I am. Alice and Rosalie were on my door step bright and early this morning to get me ready, I had to admit I looked beautiful, almost beautiful enough to stand next to Edward and not be ashamed.
After I was in my dress we got to the church and as soon as I saw Edward at the alter I knew this was the best thing that I'd ever done. The ceremony passed in a blur and we were at the reception which was held at the Cullen's house.
I said my final goodbyes to everyone and the Cullens went to hunt to give Edward and I privacy. Then there was a knock at the door, Edward and I still in our formal attire answered it and Jacob Black was standing there.
"Bella" he said as a greeting
"Hi Jake."
"I guess congratulations are in order."
"Thanks Jake." I said
"Yeah, can you come for a walk with me?"
"Sure." I answered him and mouthed "I'll be fine." to Edward, who was watching me with a worried look in his eyes.
We started walking and Jake stopped. He said "Bella, you know I still love you. Right?"
"I know Jake. I love you too, but it's not enough to stop me from going on with my life. I'm sorry." I replied.
"Yeah, I figured that, so what's it to be married to a leech?"
"It's the best." I laughed remembering the time he used those words in my kitchen.
"So when is he going to-"
"As soon as we get to our new home."
"Oh."
Then something happened. Jacob lost control. The next thing I knew I was on the ground and blood was coming from my neck and I drifted. Then there was a new pain, a worse pain.
