Relationships start with that first spark of attraction, the first meeting of eyes which is singularly the only true keeper of ones soul. Some might let emotions shift dizzingly across them, not having a single guard up because they've never had a reason to. Some however, show you what they want to, having some hurt to scar that connection up a little bit. And then, there are some that have been so devastated at one point in their lives that no emotion gives life to their eyes anymore. They've done it for so long, and so thoroughly, that it's habit and in fact, they probably wouldn't know how to let go even if they wanted to. Grayed green eyes met honey, a random happening on a random day in June. Two complete strangers happening to glance upon each other as though fate intended for it to happen. Dark brows drew down, slightly creasing right above the stoic grey-green eyes as though the meeting of honey completely startled them and they, well, didn't exactly welcome the notion. The owner of the honey colored eyes well, what emotions didn't flit across such an expressive face? An eyebrow arched as the skin around their eyes crinkled with slight amusement, "What? Do I have something on my face?" they asked as they looked at each other from their spot in front of the dvd section in the library. Green eyes shook their head, the brows drawing down even further before their gaze was lifted from honey eyes. Honey eyes shrugged, then reached out to grab The friendship of the ring, only to find their long fingers coming into contact with equally long but generally thicker ones.

"My bad!" Honey eyes apologized, as both of their fingers retreated back towards their own bodies.

"Go ahead," Honey eyes offered, turning their head to gaze a green eyes, noting the soft flush that was creeping across sharp cheekbones.

Green eyes shook their head before running those long fingers through black hair, a give away for nervousness. Abruptly, green eyes turned on their heel and walked away.

Honey eyes arched an eyebrow once more, "Okay?"

Honey eyes shrugged and then grabbed the dvd, before carrying on through the rest of the dvds.

Little did anyone ever know, that the one person who has the capability of devastating you, completely and unabashedly breaking you, could be the person that fate put in your way on a random day, at a random location, in the most random moment. Because that is what fate did. Sometimes the first connection of eyes, the first pulse of trading souls would inexplicably lead to the destruction of your heart.
