My Happy Ending?
The raft had just set sail not very long ago, that very day in fact with its four crewmembers Michael, Walt, Jin, and Sawyer. Jin and Michael were
attempting to communicate quietly, Walt on his stomach tracing the bamboo lines with the tips of his fingers, and Sawyer - Being himself - was
opening the bottle with the private messages from home to read them. "Why are you doing that?" Walt asked. "Why not?" Sawyer replied,
clearly not in the mood to talk, much less argue with a 6 year old, or if you will, a 10 year old. Walt let out a defeated sigh, much to Sawyers
relief, and turned away to watch the waves lap against the siding of the raft. "Who the hell is Hugo and how's he got a 160 million dollars to leave
to his mom?" Sawyer wondered aloud. Nobody took notice of him. He went though some familiar ones, and some the were written from
unknown people, but one in particular caught his eye. Katherine. Kate. He thought. Should I read it though? Would it be right? Well I doubt
I'll ever see her again, so sure, why not?
My name is Katherine, or rather Kate. I really don't have anyone to write to, considering they either hate me or that they are dead. But maybe my
dad, step dad actually might take interest in reading this. Please forward to Sergeant Austin when this is found.
Dear Daddy,
I was on Oceanic Flight 815, as you probably have heard. I'm okay Dad. It's not bad here besides the fact that there's monsters, polar bears, and
crazy people in the jungle kidnapping survivors. Sounds like a pretty screwed up episode of the Twilight Zone, huh? But it's not all bad, I've
made some new friends here. I hope you get to meet some of them. I know you'd like them Daddy. When nothing bad is happening here, this
place is quite beautiful. The beach with white sand, the sparkling blue ocean...it seems like a fairy tale. And believe it or not I think I finally found
my prince charming. I just hope for a happy ending.
Love,
Kate
P.s. His name is Sawyer.
End!
A/N: So? How was it? Feel free to review! And let me know if I should write a sequel...
