Like pistachios, these things are addicting. I 3 me some shuffle challenge.
For Bailey, because I inspired her to do one. And for everyone else that has ever read my story. Thanks bunches. Honey bunches.
Disclaimer: IDTS.
Here is what to do:
1) Choose a specific pairing/fandom/etc as your topic.
2) Put your iPod/Media Player/CD/iPhone on shuffle.
3) As each song starts, write the title of the song and the singer/band,and then begin writing about your subject. You only have the length of the song to finish, though. Once the song ends, so do you. No exceptions.
4) Most importantly, HAVE FUN!
Playradioplay!: At this particular moment in time
Josh Hotz watches on as his best friend, Derrick Harrington gets yet another girl to hang off of his arm. He rolls his eyes, though he can't help but feel a distinct pang in his heart.
He thought she was different. He thought she was his.
Her long blond hair whips in the wind as she laughs at something golden boy said, and the archer in his heart hits its mark again.
He wishes she was laughing at his jokes. He wishes she really was his.
The Killers: Midnight Show
Bumping, grinding, rubbing and heavy breathing took the place of all other actions at the Gala de Estrella, in Westchester County, New York. For a masquerade ball, too many people knew too many people's true identities.
"Chris, it's time. I'm ready." Chris's girlfriend of two weeks whispered in his ear.
She rubbed her hot Latin hands over sensitive parts of his body, and he automatically knew what she was talking about.
"Now, Alicia?" Chris groaned either from friction, frustration.
Paramore: Let the Flames Begin
"Derrick, you can't go after him. He hurt all of us with what he did to her, but it won't help her out at all when she wakes up if you're in prison for murder." Massie pleaded with him. Tears marked tracks through the mud on her face and fell down to the sweetheart neckline of her costly dress.
Derrick looked at her, eyes unblinking and cold. Unyielding.
"Please, Derrick, she needs you right now. You heard Josh's dad, these next few hours will be crucial. Please, she needs you. We all need you."
Derrick looked around at his friends, grief-stricken as they were, they were here. And they needed him as much as he needed them.
Taking Back Sunday: Timber wolves in New Jersey
"Are you ready, Claire?!" Chris shouted down the steps from his attic.
Why the breaker box was up there, we would never know.
"Fuck yeah, Chris, let's blow this shit up!" Claire shouted from the garage, slamming the cord for the amp into the outlet.
As soon as lights flooded around her, she let riff after riff fly off of her Les Paul.
She needed this cleansing ritual.
Backstreet Boys: Helpless When She Smiles
Kemp watched across the room as his girlfriend of two years four days ago lit up with a laugh. He smiled.
Good, Kemp thought. It had been a while since he had seen her laugh.
Ever since she was mugged walking home from the park with Scooter, Claire hadn't been the flaming ball of sunshine Kemp had fallen in love with.
If Scooter, their 120- pound Rottweiler hadn't have been there, it could have been so much worse.
Scooter had gotten shot in the leg for his bravery, and they had to amputate his right leg, but he was still alive at least. And so was Claire.
Cat Power: Wonderwall
"Dylan? Is that you?" Cam called through the rain-soaked graveyard. He thought he had seen his ex-best friend of seven years ago curled up against a grave.
Four years ago, Dylan's fiancé left for a tour in Iraq. Three years later, he came back in a casket, with an American flag draped over it.
Dylan hadn't been the same ever since.
There it is, peeps. Review.
