Accato is angrily passing around in the hallways of the Overworld castle in Kiru City.
A few minutes ago, he was in an argument with his father about how much he isn't like his cousin Maxxor. This isn't a new developmental, for solons Accato's family has been pushing him to be more like Maxxor.
And the sad part about it was that Accato agreed with them, though he never said it to anyone.
Maxxor was the pride of the family, and many creatures were counting on Maxxor to becoming the Overworld ruler like his father. Of course Accato would want as much praise as what Maxxor is getting from every creature in the Overworld tribe!
He stops his passing, and tries to calm down by taking deep breaths.
The hot temperature in the castle was worsening his bad mood, so he decide to go outside for some fresh air.
As he was walking down the hallway, he heard two voices coming from inside a room up ahead. He recognized the voices as belonging to his cousin Maxxor and one of his friends named Raznus.
Hearing Maxxor's voice made Accato think about how his family likes Maxxor more than him, which made his anger go back up.
Accato, not wanting to think about Maxxor, quickened his pass to leave, but he still heard some of their conversation.
"You don't understand Raznus! You have no idea what kind of pressure I'm under. Everyone expects me to be just as great as my father." Maxxor said, as Accato passes the door.
That was the last and only sentence Accato heard from that conversation, but it still held thought-provoking information.
Is that how he feels? Accato thought as he finally made it outside. I've been getting pressure from my parents about not being like Maxxor, while Maxxor has been getting pressure from everyone else about becoming like his father.
A large part of Accato wanted to be like Maxxor, to have his life were every Overworlder respected and admired him. But now Accato was wondering if the pressure of maintaining such a strong image of a great warrior and leader was worth such praise.
Accato spent the rest of the day thinking it over, before he came to the conclusion that having Maxxor's life wasn't as great as what he thought it was.
Though he still wished his parents would stop comparing him to Maxxor.
