Title is based of of the title of my story Rachel's College guy so its a continuation of that. Just imagine Octavian isn't dead

Rachel was so tired. So very very tired. She'd just gotten home from a semester at Clarion. Winter break was here and she just wanted to sleep. She'd forgotten Octavian would be there. Even though she'd been looking forward to seeing him for months, when she finally got the chance to see him she forgot that his school got out sooner than Clarion Academy. When she saw his things by the door she couldn't hold back a smile. The curtain installed near his bed was drawn so she couldn't see him, but she was anxious to.

"Octavian?" She asked, grinning by now.

"Mmph." Was the reply. She drew back the curtain so she could see him. She was surprised to find him vigorously playing Pokemon on an older model of a D.S.

"Octavian?" She asked again, having never known that her boyfriend liked that kind of thing. He looked up, grinned the dopey smile that she loved him for, and patted the bed beside him.

"Come, sit! Watch!" He said, beckoning. She cozied in beside him and watched him play.

"You like Pokemon?"

"Yeah actually. I like it on the gameboy better tbh, nostalgia and all that, but its impossible to afford a gameboy these days because Nostalgia is expensive and I found the d.s. for sale and the games were discounted too so..." He said, babbling adorably. She laughed.

"Its cool."

"Its a bit geeky."

"Yeah well you're cute when you're geeky."

"I like other games too." He said, his whole face lighting up as he talked about it. She smiled, thinking how lucky she was to have ended up with such an adorable dork. He got so passionate about the littlest things and his happiness made her happy. He hadn't always been so happy. They were good for each other.

"Oh?" She asked, letting him babble on.

"I like Mario and Minecraft and Wii sports.." He said, telling her what he liked about each game and what the best cheat codes were all the while still playing his pokemon game. She had no idea what he was talking about but it was cute anyway.

"My Gamer Guy." She said, kissing his cheek. He turned so she could kiss him properly.

"I have missed you." She said, the burden of the semester dropping from her shoulders.

"I've missed you too Rachel." He said, pulling her close and kissing her. She rested her head on his shoulder. He set down the game so he could hold her better.

It was nice to know that she was the thing that he was more passionate about than his video games.
