Author's Note: Like I have stated before, no matter how short the fic I will be sure to add it to my main account. Originally written on Tumblr for a prompt made by yours truly. I will get back to my bigger projects soon, at the moment, it's all writers block, unfortunately.

She was ashamed of her impatience, sharp red eyes staring at his broad back as he work his kitchen. Tigress sat at the wooden table, one arm supported by its surface from the elbow propped against.

The strong scents of whatever he was cooking tempted her belly, it growled it's displeasure at having to wait. Pinning her ears with a huff, she turned away,. Tigress, crossing her arms, ignored the happenings behind her to the best of her ability.

Which was nearly impossible with how strong a nose she had! She could smell every detail of the dish, which smelled like a delicious spicy veggie curry. The sound of a spoon clacking roused the tiger's attention, trying not to appear eager as she angled her face around.

She was dismayed at how much her mouth was watering as Po inspected the contents of the pot. Dipping his finger into it, he gave it a curious taste and shrugged, returning to throwing in some dried looking leaves. Tigress curled her lips, hunger making her fidget before standing up to get a closer look.

How embarrassing that a warrior of her caliber, praised for her restraint and discipline be cowed by the cooking of a panda! That, here she was, almost ready to beg just to get a pre dinner nibble because her stomach and taste buds were just complaining so much.

To be fair it had been a long training session under Shifu today and breakfast was skipped as a result. Then there was the simple fact that Po's cooking was to die for.

Was that too dramatic? The panda is rubbing off on me...

Without realizing it, she was right behind the happily humming Dragon Warrior. Po grinned knowingly but pretended not to notice as he skillfully diced a radish on the cutting board. Balancing the cuts upon the flat edge of the knife, he added the bits into the curry. He'd known she was fidgeting and inwardly whining to eat for awhile now, much like a demanding house cat wanting it's bowl filled.

Tigress peeked over his shoulder, chest practically pressed into his back. She wrinkled her nose, the smells making her grit her teeth in dismay. If only she wasn't prideful, then she could merely ask how long until supper would be completed!

Suddenly she found herself nose-to-nose with Po, who'd turned his head with a mischief filled smile. Tigress reeled back at the contact, briefly feeling her fur stand on end at the surprise of it all. Po laugh heartily, shaking his head before pulling out a teacup plate from the top shelf.

Tigress watched him with suspicion before the panda used his spoon to splat on a teeny tiny morsel from the pot. He snorted his amusement, presenting the tiger with the sample.

"You know Ti, you could have just asked," he teased, earning a glare from his friend. Tigress, putting her pride aside, accepted the plate sheepishly. She would be sated until mealtime's completion.
