Hi, everyone. So, I know I usually do actual stories, but I decided that I want to put some poetry on this site. I have some on other sites, but none of it is stuff I'm actually proud of (it kind of stinks). Anyway, I hope you all like this. It's from Madge's perspective in CF (by the way, in case you don't know this about me, I'm a Gadge shipper. That's what this poem is about, so you needed to know that for this to make sense). So, here it is:
Do you know me?
You say you do.
But you only know the basics.
You don't know how I can't breathe when I think of you.
You don't know about that electrical spark that runs down my spine when I see you.
You don't know that I don't always smile;
it seems that way to you because smiling is all I can seem to do around you.
That means talking is out of the question.
That makes telling you these things impossible.
So I keep them inside.
But then I run the risk of bursting when I catch your eye.
It doesn't matter;
we all know that you love her.
So, what did you think? Should I do more? Tell me in the reviews (hint, hint). Thanks for reading! : )
