AN- Warning for mild horror, rather than my usual fluff! Don't like, don't read. That's all I can say! Oh yes, and the main character's name is never mentioned! It could be one of the Ishtars, Kaiba's, Wheelers, or perhaps even Bakura!
Anyway, please review!
When it says N I'm signalling a different part of the story, as the horizontal rule doesn't seem to want to work!
Disclaimer: Characters donot belong to me, story does!
NNNN
Shuddering as the fog like shadows curled and twisted around his shaking, half frozen body, the person looked around, almost expecting the shadows to jump out and devour him. Help…
Fear clutching at his heart, he stepped back quickly and yet tentatively. He was fading quickly. Stumbling, he fell. All the while he was crying silently, unable to stop himself. His sibling was dead.
Abruptly, he awoke, sitting bolt upright and clutching at his head as crystalline tears gathered in his eyes, threatening to spill over.
That dream again! No. That wasn't a dream. It was a nightmare. It had been plaguing him for weeks, never giving him any resemblance of peace. Shaking his head forcefully, he pushed his bangs out of his face, impatiently brushing the tears away as he did so. Even though he knew it had only been a nightmare, even though he knew it couldn't have possibly been real… He had to check.
Still dazed from both what his mind continually told him had really happened and from his extreme tiredness, he walked unsteadily from his room and into the hallway, pressing onwards even as his eyes adjusted slowly to the darkness.
Reaching his destination at last, he hesitated as he grabbed the handle, clutching tightly at the cold hard metal. Biting his lip softly, he pushes the handle down, swinging the door open slowly, wincing at the chilling creaking noise it made as it moved. Unconsciously bracing himself, he closed his eyes, stepping almost nervously into the room.
Frowning as he felt some sticky, yet seemingly runny liquid under his bear feet, he flicked his eyes open and looked around.
As soon as he registered exactly what he was seeing, he reeled back, collapsing against the now closed door.
Even through the gloom, it was all too easy to see that the entire room, once so light, was dripping with blood. It was on the walls, the ceiling, the floor. Everywhere he looked, it ran and formed puddles, dribbling and splashing as it dripped off the surfaces and onto others.
Worse than that was the pale, lifeless form that lay still in the centre of the floor, open eyes staring dully and unseeingly ahead, no flicker of light in their now blank and empty depths.
Unable to help himself, he screamed.

..Then he woke up, starting with surprise as he raised his head up from where it had been resting on the comfortable and nicely cushioned arm of a couch.
A concerned, kind voice spoke up from next to him, and he turned to see little Yugi watching, worry shining in his large violet eyes, "Are you okay?" he asked, tilting his head to the side, "you fell asleep about an hour ago, and we didn't want to wake you up… " he continued, seeing the other boy's confusing, even as he tried desperately to hide it.
Sitting up slowly, he shook his head, looking at the shorter teen who was standing before him. Now he remembered… he had come over here for a while and he had felt tired, so he had decided to take a short nap. Obviously, this had not been one of his better ideas…
"I'm fine. I just had a bit of a bad dream, is all." He said. He smiled reassuringly. Already, the horrors that he had witnessed had started to fade…
THE END.
