I, GreenFantasy64, don't own Magi or its characters. They belong to Shinobu Ohtaka.

This is from a prompt that I did in Tumblr for someone that requested it:

AU prompt: Judal just got his car and as Kougyoku is his friend since they were kids, he invited her to a ride. She is just taking driving lessons and wants to ride and car, Judal lets and she crashes the car onto a tree.

Enjoy!

Kougyoku Ren couldn't believe the fact that Judal was allowing her to use his car. His first car that his grandfather gave him for his seventeenth birthday present. A '79 Audi 80 fox car that had a paint job the color of red. Despite its age the car was well taken care of. No single bumps or scratch markings on it. Just like inside the seats were comfortable and tidy.

She took a sniff to find a hint of Judal's cologne lingering in the air. She smiled to herself. Her first friend—though Judal will denial it—since childhood had taken her a ride around town. It had been nice to enjoy the view with him and talk about random things.

After a while he had stopped in Sinbad's house to show off his car to him.

On the reminder of where she was at she begin to blush, her hands covering her mouth.

They had been talking—more like Sinbad and Judal (her just pitching in at times). The topic had been about cars. Until she had mention how she was soon to take driving lessons from her older brother, Kouen Ren. But Judal was kind of enough to start her lessons right now.

So here she was in the driver's seat waiting for Judal to tell her what to do. She heard Sinbad and Judal talking to each other in the background before her friend came over.

"Ready?" Judal asked her. He had a grin on his face, but it didn't lessen the nervousness she was feeling.

She took a deep breath. She had nothing to worry about, she told herself. It would be a breeze. So she answered, "Yes."

He took her hands away from her face to place them on the wheel. It felt nice. His tan hands feeling nice and warm against her pale and cold ones.

"Always have your hands on ten o'clock and two o'clock," he told her.

She didn't question him, but nodded to his words. He continued to give her advices and told her what few things did in the car.

"When you're ready, put the gear in drive and just drive straight and around the block once. Drive slow for now—around twenty miles per hour."

"Okay," she said to him with a shaky breath.

He walked away after he shut the door to stand next to Sinbad, leaving Kougyoku alone.

Sinbad faced to him to questioned, "Shouldn't you be with her just in case?"

Judal waved him off. "She'll be fine—

A crash stopped him from he was saying. The sound made them flinch than froze. The awareness of what happen came slowly to their mind. Together they looked to where Judal's car had crashed into a tree few inches away from the street. Judal started to stuttered on the sight.

What they didn't realize, both Judal and Kougyoku, was that the wheel had been facing to an forty degree angle to the left. That and the fact that she had step too hard on the gas. This cause her to crash into a poor unfortunate tree.

Until next time...
